Well in S2 you had Uldaman, where the 2nd boss bleeds were most impactfull. Or Neltharus hunters and spear boss âŚ
But why NL specifically ? That place was the poison of Naraxas ⌠Maybe there is something I dont remember. Refresh my memory please.

Well in Netharus there were a ton of nasty things. But THE most nasty were the bleeds of the hunters.
Remember when the route was to grab a massive 30 dude pack and take them to the chains ? Well in those were 5 hunters that left a bleed that absolutely SLAPPED.
You might remember all those disbands on the 1st pull of Neltharus because people were dying on that 1st pull⌠yeah⌠it was the bleed from the huntersâŚ
And then the chain boss. That one also left a nasty bleed âŚ
However. In both cases use of personal defensive was enough to pull through. And even if you went Dwarf, your Aug (which was ultra meta back in the day) was enough to dispel those.
But I still dont understand why Neltharus of all dungeons. What is so special about that place with Dwarf racials ?
why are you even discussing this? the answer is simple and has already been mentionedâŚ
disable racials when you join a group/enter a current instance. the unbalance is only in pvp and raids. and it only matters in m+ cause of e-sports.
let racials only be available in open world / legacy instances. and like some said, actually buff and expand racials to bring back the fantasy rpg element to what is meant to be an mmoRPG.

Even just passives can be incredibly damning.
Shadowlands showed us this with Rise of the Orcs⢠where upwards of 60-70% of your PvP targets would basically just walk through stuns because of pre-nerf Hardiness in conjunction with other CC reduction effects.
And because of people like you WoW is losing RPG aspect like in every patch over the long years becoming boring and miserable queue game for sweatlords. They should balance it a bit nerf some, buff others, or change it for better, but not remove themâŚ
Imo both factions should have the same racials to keep faction balance in PvP, because as you can see most of top PvP players are playing Night Elfs, Humans, and Dwarfs. They should assign 2 races to share the same racials under the different name of a spell for example. Humans has trinket so Blood Elf or whatever should get it too, and vice versa, Human should get some kind of Arcane Torrent.
Blood Elfâs Arcane Torrent since they nerfed interrupt/silence is totaly useless in PvP, because PvP now is way faster and single dispellable buffs doesnât matter that much anymore.
Also you can always change race/faction if you think some racials are OP. You have cross faction content now so.
Stoneform allowed you to remove a bleed on the 3rd boss, which was absolutely huge. Those poisons chonked people real hard, and so unless you were a class that could dispel them or were with a class that could, your only option was to play Dwarf.
I think Blizzard need to more carefully consider how different races can be useful on a fight. Thereâs nothing about Stoneform that makes it the only solution to that problem. Itâs just that the racials are incredibly imbalanced and there arenât a lot of them, so if your one racial doesnât solve a particular problem, your race is just useless for that fight and you die.
I think each race should have three or even four racials with classes going down an equivalent 3 or 4 abilities, and they should be treated as something to balance regularly. Every patch, like classes. Heck, tune them by class - as a matter of fact thatâs probably a good idea in general. Kind of like Priests were in vanilla, or Paladins in tBC.
This will probably result in effectively more restrictive class/race combination at very high levels of play (i.e. among minmaxxers), but thatâs just how the game used to be anyway and also how D&D and almost every other RPG works.
Alternative just kill them. The current situation where they do barely anything but are super imbalanced as well isnât fun for anybody. It fails on racial fantasy and it fails on allowing the player to pick.

Racials should be more meaningfull, not less.
Just disable racials in mythic raiding and from +11 and above so the competitive nerds have nothing to cry about.
Ideally you should keep your Darkflight.
And ideally I want things like monks having fists of fury replaced with claws of fury which is the same except it adds a bleed afterwards.
Thatâs the sort of thing I personally think would be fun.
But the current state of things just kindda sucks imo.
Min-maxers need to be gone or reworked.
I would agree with some rework, but seeing them all gone would ruin a lot of fun for me.

Yeah I know, but that simply goes back to my original point:
Dispel mechanics should be normalized. Like today that I complain that its absurd to have curses and poisons that truck and how unfair that is to other healers, I complained about the same thing in S2 and S3 of DF.
And bleeds specifically I complained about what Aug/Evokers did, who were the ONLY class capable of dispeling bleeds on a 1 min CD. And diseases with OP priest.
Bleeds originally were introduced in the game as a dot that you could not dispel. Nobody could. You had to power heal through it and thats it. But in their quest to make Evokers âspecialâ they messed up the balance of their own game.
Basically, bleeds of stoneform should not be dispelable to begin with. Its not really a racial problem, but more a dispel mechanic problem.
I agree regarding bleeds. When they added Stoneform it basically murdered feral druid rot builds in PvP, which was my favourite thing in the game, because you could never know when a dwarf would show up. Infuriating.

I disagree, let races feel special somehow. If you think itâs such an advantage, just pick said race yourself.
The competitive should go play a competitive game and not an mmorpg if they feel those are problems.
If you want to be a competitive player in WoW you should adapt yourself to the seasons by swapping racials/classes to accomodate what works best.
Wow class and racial should not become dull and normalized because of the competitive environment.
Its not about being âcompetitiveâ. Even if you are a casual, it feels bad to perform X% weaker than everyone else.
And the reason this happens is simple math. The more âuniqueâ things are, the more powerful they become. There is a spectrum between âeveryone has the same thingsâ and âeveryone is a unique snowflakeâ, and the good and healthy balance is somewhere in between.
The hard part is finding out where. But one thing is certain: Clinging to âuniquenessâ simply tilts you to one extreme, and the consequences of that are obvious.
Simply put, you are 100% correct if we are talking about a 1% or a 0.5% performance increase. Anyone that whines about that is simply stupid. But if the performance increase is 5%, 10%, or 20% then the whiners start having a pointâŚ
Racials are not there yet. Thats for sure. However, buffing them gets us closer to âwhiners having a pointâ and its a step in the wrong direction.
