Cataclysm HC has been very easily achieved by many many guilds. What should be done, is nerf firelands hc and let the ppl that havent got the chance to get the mount, get it how should it been, doing the raid content.
I understand the RNG Mount to drop from satchels as it rng, but being able to buy mount from vendor removes all sense of accomplishment you get when you down ragnaros hc and get mount.
Has nothing to do with the topic, but what nonsense changes do you think they made to raids in Cata, if I may ask? Imo the Cata raiding content is amongst the best we’ve had in WoW Classic since the 2019 re-release.
10/25 raid mode being “equal”, since we are in the #somechanges if they made them work with the flex tech like in retail we would not have the situation where you have someone on the bench for 10 man or the risk of running 24-23 (esactly what happen to my guild during LK Heroic progression and we had to stop raiding because we could not find people to repliche them)
Limited amout of Rez in combat per fight, just this week i saw my brother in the other room doing HC Rag with his 10 man guild.
In the raid they had one blood dk (my brother) and a druid, during the fight one player died and my brother combat ressed him, but in leg phase one healer died and they where forced to wipe because the druid could not res me for the stupid decision “you can only do 1 combat res per fight in 10 man”.
Same stupidity as “you can only use one potion in combat”
In this period of time, blizzard started their design to make Raids e-sports like.
True but honestly on retail it can make sligth sense because each new patch the raid is completely new, in classic is not the case, so just make each difficoulty flex since the race for “world first” is not a real thing.
Heck i even hope they change it even for anniversary realms.
Absolutely agree with OP. This HC+ mechanic is getting excessive… it completely kills all previous raid tiers and makes everything lose its value by being too easily accessible. This is something that belongs to a sod version of cata honestly, and I’m stating this as someone who isn’t raiding in cata atm and “benefits” from it.
I don’t think the inferno/twilight dungeons are a problem per se. They are a good way of getting alts raid ready without having to commit to several raids a week (2 nights a week on my main is basically what my real life allows me to raid). But I do think it’s a mistake to not include the Troll/HoT dungeons in the same queue (like the ICC dungeons being in the same queue as Gamma in WotLK). 9 dungeons is not a lot to serve as current content for over a year. We’ve been doing the same dungeons since may 2024, and my guess is that the twilight dungeons are gonna stay relevant for a couple of months after release. Having a total of 14 dungeons would atleast make it feel a slight bit less repetitive.
