I recently noticed a serious problem using the LFR system. in 4 attempts to clear Domination’s Grasp wing, I always entered to kill the last one (Rygelon) when it was already saved from the first attempt. The worst part is that the system penalizes, with a 30 minute wait, any player who leaves even if they are not eligible to receive loot.
There could be a button that indicates that the player is looking for “Fresh runs” or there could be no penalty if he had already killed the remaining bosses on the wing.
I know this is not a problem for a lot of people, but it was a good QoL to implement for players who are casual.
Once upon a time they had an indication how many bosses were done when you got the pop up, But then noone joined runsin progress and the runs in progress could never finish, so they removed that
Problems is that there were many players also added for last boss.
Once downed it they re-queued to get the first bosses and then leave when they get to the last boss causing more players to join at the last boss.
You’re just unlucky to keep getting picked for last boss.
By rights the system should have put you in a queue for a fresh run, but it sounds like there were too many runs requiring players for last boss.
made this point a month ago. The vault should be number of boss kills OR end boss of the wing. There wouldnt be so many fractured groups if they had done this.
fresh runs wont work as itd split the group finder.
id agree with you on the no penalty (apart from the re-queue times ofc) if you already had the boss down though, good idea … id imagine some scumbag would take advantage of it though. I miss when they listed which bosses were down so you could accept/reject the offer
When they gave the option to see runs in progress, it doomed them to die. Meaning if people left after the boss they needed, that run was dead and everyone had to requeue.
I’m not saying to indicate how many bosses are dead.
what I mean is that there should be an option to force the queue to be fresh run or not be penalized if you have already received loot from the following bosses.
it is extremely frustrating to have to kill the same boss several times, not to mention the waiting time that is lost to do the same wing again.
