It used to be that you could adjust your raid frame alignment simply by dragging the border in the side panel after selecting to edit it. That way, assuming you picked “keep groups together” and to have them vertical rather than horizontal, you could drag the border so there was space for two “stacks” of columns, in such a way that they went:

That’s what I used to have. Now, all you can resize are the individual frames. The border with the draggable arrow on it is gone. If I’m in a big group on a world boss my raid frames go all the way to the center of my screen. If there’s an option to do what I am requesting I cannot see it. I’m not content with using combined groups and then have the columns aligned 4x10. I like to have a number next to each group!
PS: In case you want to play around with the new raid frames in Edit Mode yourself, be careful about un-snapping the frames from the side panel. Because they can’t snap back on. You have to RESET them to their default position in order to do that.
PPS: Also, the main and assist tank frames, instead of being horizontally aligned on the left side, are now vertically aligned one after the other, wasting huge amounts of space!
