Raid Frames - Cannot Heal

I am using the blizzard default UI - I have always used mouseover macro’s with no problem.

The issue I am having is in Battlegrounds, I mouseover the dude I want to heal and try to heal them but I get an error saying they are too far away.

Now they are not out of range… They are stood right next to me in some instances and I cannot heal them when I mouseover the unit frame. If I mouseover their actual character I can heal them no problem.

So is this an issue with my macro of the raid frames? The frames themselves look fine, people fade out when out of range of my spells fine, it’s just I can’t heal people which is a real problem.

My macro’s are like this;

#showtooltip
/cast [@mouseover,help,nodead][@player] Healing Wave

It basically heal’s my mouseover target if they exist, otherwise it heals me. I reiterate that these macro’s have always worked in dungeons and elsewhere, but I’m having this problem in BG’s.

that macro works fine, it seems to be something different throwing a wrench here.

  • does it happen in all battlegrounds?
  • does it happen in all locations ore only on specific places?
  • does it affect all your spells?
  • can others use their abilities on you, when you cant heal them this way?
