1 item per 5 players instead of what it is now which is 1/6.6 which leaves you to loot 1 item per raid [assuming you fully clear it]. Which letās be honest, most people donāt.
I have to say that Wow is on a downward spiral, only reason the subs boosted recently is due to covid19, feels like this design team keeps making decisions to please hardcore gamers ( like 0.01% of the population ).
Donāt think this strategy will work for Wow in the long run, your design team needs a phisolophy change, games are moving towards faster content, feels like your stuck in the old ways, asking a player to keep total focus for 40 / 45 minutes is becoming unheard of, dungeons should be fast ( 15 / 30min ) for sure the sweetspot is here in the middle. Raids and epic battlegrounds suffer from the same problem. Even worse when you launched Twisting Corridors with 18 floors, takes around 1 hour and half to clear ( lol, do you expect players to keep focus for one hour and half ? jeez )
People want to feel rewarded for the hours they put into the game. Wow population is shifting towards mythics just showās this trend is here to stay, fast grouping up, easy to prepare for, challenging, can play with your friends and most importantly itās faster than raiding, however it doesnāt feel rewarding in the slightest.
Design team should focus on bringing rewarding and fair experiences to all progression ways, or people will just flat out lose interest in your game.
I keep hearing arguments for, oh you can be boosted in mythics+, so can you get boosted in raiding or pvp, whatās your point ? You can be boosted on anything, also if pvp top is 1% and the keystone master achievement is hold by 1% of population, why do rewards differ so much ? ( This just doesnāt make any sense to me ) ( refering to the valor PTR changes )
Time to move on and adapt, renew your design and phisolophy into the future !

All loot boxes have a 1 in a million chance to drop longboi, the infinite timewaster and the timewasting proto drake
its funny with blizzard and those uncalled for changes that are invariably reverted (after a LONG time)
first reset of nathria was dropping healthy amounts of loot, about 5 pieces per 20 ppl and you would get 2-4 items from a full clear. About on par with prev expansions, like 10-12 years of them.
Then the drop rate got cut in half if not more. Hardly any drops, and those drops that did happened was the same dupe crap over and over again (cloaks, rings etc.). No trinkets, no weapons. I lost my motivation to do this crap raid and im just doing some +14s for weekly vault in mythic+. GV is the only realible source of upgrades anyway so why even bother playing.
Vault not always gives item you need (for example one week I got to āchooseā from 3 chests though I already had 226 ). Also had one week where I only 1chested and it also gave duplicate weapon I already had.
I think itās normal progression rate. My average ilvl is badly diminished by DoS cube trinket which is still 171 (that thing just wonāt appear in Vault/m+ chest), alternative is smth like dancer trinket from councilā¦
Is it a catch up, to make all my efforts in previous months 33% less impactful?
Lesson learned - never play first 3 months of expac, time has been WASTED, ty gonna remember it
