Raid Loot Droprates Tuning -- 17 February

Of course Blizz would cave-in to the “I want rewards now!!” crowd. And here I was thinking Shadowlands was going great.

Loot isnt “meaningful” anymore :joy:

We had plenty of loot since Wotlk. I dont know what they are thinking to achieve by artificial scarcity of loot.

By the way, when you up the droprates for Nathria, dont forget to increase them for timewalking raids, because in a previous hotfix you nerfed them to match “nathria droprates”.

Now give us more gold im tired of getting rewarded pocket change for 2 expansions

M+ has a 40% drop rate, which is pretty good. What do you want? 1 Run and get a guarantee loot ?!

Coming back after reset with feedback number of items looted / number of bosses killed. That 33% is quite “foggy”, 33% for who? Does it mean that that lucky dude that would’ve got most of the loot, would now get 33% more loot? Or is there some sort of control of the RNG, so that most people in the group would get something (of course, there are factors to be considered, like 1 boss runs, or ppl leaving and joining throughout the run etc).

What’s this? “Please Give Me Loot Game Version 2.0” ?!

what people dont get (including you) mythic+ top gear (and its ultimate goal) is in the weekly chest. its just 1 weekly random item.
what you get from the run itself is much lower ilvl. in BFA to get mythic raid ilvl, you had to finish timed +15 and then you get >1< random high-end item +currency for azerite gear and lots of azerite.
in the dungeons themselves, you get much worse. i think -15 lower(if timed).

now, +15 timed give you 10 ilvl less than mythic raid. and as you know, most people dont raid, definatelly not mythic.

So, you are comparing late x-pac BfA with almost 3 months of Shadowlands?!

Anyway, seems you really don’t get it. The Ultimate Goal, means exactly that : ULTIMATE Goal. (Potentially ) 1 BiS Item per week for your ULTIMATE Goal is very fair. Doing M+ also helps with your gear to achieve the, guess what? Yup … your ULTIMATE Goal.

Imagine giving left and right, items for your ULTIMATE Goal. Amazing right?

About …

Which … Mythic? People don’t do Mythic Raids. I mean, beside the 0…01% of the player-base? So (almost) literally for all players, Mythic Raiding does not exist and so M+15 is their go to, for grinding gear for their …ULTIMATE Goal.

You welcome!

too late already unsubbed

And yet you’re still here waiting for the loot increase. Well, it happened now. Welcome back!

Noone needs this information.

If you’ve unsubbed… then leave

Well Ion Hazzikostas was a lawyer, so lying is second nature :slightly_smiling_face:

Promised a feedback, here we go. Cleared Nathria, got nothing. Even with the system before, there was still 1 or 2 items on the board, now nothing. Will be back in 248 weeks for a statistics of how loot dropping went with the modifications they say they did. Not to be dishonest, I did see 4 items instead of 2 dropping for my 20+ ppl group, but many of us didn’t get more than 1 thing.

wait did they increase the droprate already!? I know i could have been unlucky as usual but i didnt get anything from 9 bosses before i logged off

Yeap 10 for me (4 normal, 6 heroic) nothing apart from the bag (which I don’t need)

Looks like Blizzard learned its lesson after massive sub drop.
