Raid should not be secondary way for gearing

raid should not be secondary was to gear up … m+ atm is really really to easy to gear up and so gear of similar power to gear which you get from mythic raid bosses should should be same or similar diffuclty to this raid bosses that u have same amount of gear which u get from m+ as 278 and from raid as 278 … not like that ppl coming to heroic raid without any kill with already 265 gear for example or even 278 gear to jailer hc …

or maybe best was is to increase raid gear on bosses like jailer hc to 278 maybe even and some bosses already to 290 and more and bcs of that to give like +25 as highest thing as gear drop … just to make balance betwen raid and m+ difficulty of gearing and also that last bosses of raid gives better gear than first bosses of higher difficulty … simply with idea less killed things to give better gear or less finished things better gear and things which are more killed and finished less … and that in weekly or daily base

In previous tiers guilds were able to (nearly) clear the raids on heroic within 2 months, in which they would get a lot of gear every week. Because it was still early in the season, and they weren’t fully decked out with max-level M+ vault gear, that heroic gear felt useful.

In this tier, because heroic and mythic was so hard, raiders got fewer heroic items per week than in the past. A lot of guilds didn’t even bother with heroic in the first month and instead focused on normal to get tier-gear.

Another problem is that a lot of raid trinkets this season were absolute trash, so when they dropped, it wasn’t an upgrade.

I think if raid difficulty is tuned better, and the items that drop are actually worth using, it wouldn’t feel so useless compared to M+ vaults.

Should it be tertionary ?

True. Nothing should be the best way of gearing. Let everyone max out their character with different activites, let them have fun and call it a day.

The feelings of the 1%, who do mythic raiding or ridiculously high keys, who want special treatment because they hit pixels for longer, is the most irrelevant thing ever.

They wanted to move away from raid or die.

I have loved the Catalyst, I don’t even have to run them for mogs now.

As a long term PvP player whom got bashed by raid elitists, this thread feels the most enjoyable in a fiendish way. I fully support M+'s reign as a true form of PvE content.

It’s kind of funny that the first tier suffered such a loot drought that it was PvP or die.

Or trajectory? :stuck_out_tongue:

Raiding was the foundation of wow and is now more a hassle then fun, it is realy hard to get 20 ppl good enough and willing to kill mythic bosses and you do it only for the acm :frowning: WoW lost so much of it’s core over the years. And don’t get me startet on the pug experence in m+…

I agree to that point that m+ shouldn’t be competing with raids. Raids should offer the best gear.
It’s way harder to organize 10-20 players and teach them to play mechanics right than 5.
Additionally it takes away the incentive from players to go raiding at all, because players always choose the easier way and M+ is by definition easier than raiding and also less time consuming.

simply for 278 gear for example … difficutly to get that item in the raid and m+ should be similar not that m+ is much much much less trouble to get item …
