There has been some advices on how to skip several raid bosses when farming for mounts. Is this actually safe or can you get in serious trouble? I remember there has been some sort of talk about exploit many, many years ago when some guild skipped bosses in Temple of AQ.

As long as you’re not glitching the map, then you should be fine.
One skip I use, because it’s super fast is the one in Firelands.
You run to the bird boss, you collect the 3 feathers, fly up, kill the boss, then fly over to the entrance of where ragnaros is located, you skip the rest of the bosses/rp crap and kill rag and move on with your day

There are various people offering lockouts to others.
You just reminded me to get the Shadowlands raids done on this Hunter. I can’t go there manually, as I’ve not done any of the expansion content yet (planning on doing it early next week).
They should make all old bosses that drop mounts like that.
Example Jaina in dazar alor raid where you can just skip to her.
Tried this, worked perfectly, got Alysrazor’s mount. Now I’m as happy as a very happy person who has a special reason to be happy.
