I use this Wowhead talent guide, more specifically the Fel-Scarred Intertia ST build. I also compared it to Icy-Veins and others, which has sort of the same talents.
There are a few talents, that all seem very indifferent in raiding and when I google - I find little info.
I hope you can help me. What use do these have in raids vs bosses:
Aldrachi Design: 3% parry (I shouldn’t be parrying the boss)
Live by the Glaive: HP and Fury upon parries (how often does the boss parry my, I am behind a lot of the time too)
Lost in darkness: Spectral sight (why would I want this)
Master of the Glaive: 50% slow (wouldn’t I rather have the range option with +10 yards)
Consume Magic
Imprison
Infernal Armor (at least this makes me more robust, I would take this over the others)
Soul Sigils: Generating 1 more Lesser Soul Fragtment is okay, but I can’t seem to see which spells I have that use souls in the raid build
In my world, I am best off with this build:
Aldrachi Design 1/1: 3% parry
Infernal Armor 2/2: For the armor
This is my talents:

Can you tell me if something is really off, or try to explain why the above mentioned talents are worth anything in raids (the boss part).
Should go without saying, I’m purely talking raid now.
Looking at your build, specificly the Demon Hunter talent tree I do not see anything wrong.
The wowhead guide likely made the choices they did because of pathing. The 3 bottom rows of ours are very locked in. Everything above that is really what you prefer and what a fight may require of you. But we really have a lot of free talents to put wherever we may like as long as we path to and pick the important ones.
Lost in Darkness is purely a pathing choice, since infernal armor costs 2 points. But in a world where the tank does not lose aggro to you it’s not really a benefit. Most boss aoe and group damage tends to be magic.
Soul Sigils was likely a Aldrachi build where it’s locked in for as many souls as possible. For Fel-Scarred, Darkness will be better in every fight.
Glaive slow is one that I do not see any use for in the current raid. So I always go increased range myself.
Live by the glaive may perhaps get a tiny, tinnnnnyyyy gain from the fury generation in situations where the boss do manage to parry something. Or an add manage to parry something.
All in all, you got the important stuff selected. The rest of the points you’re free to spend to whatever suits you, or change for a specific fight.
Thank you for the feedback. I wish there was a very solid one target dps ability in this tree too. And that more talents were useful, at least in different situations. But it works, I will try to do My best with these
Terrible? Not at all. Compared to Darkness? Unless there is a fight where you don’t really need darkness I suppose one could switch. But I rarely ever have problems with fury generation.
Playing a eyebeam build admittedly, no Inertia. Because I’m not touching that damn thing.
