As a M+ enjoyer who cant commit the time to raid mythic I would love a way of upgrading raid loot to help people achieve ‘BIS’.
What id like to see is something expensive added to the vault vendor 18+ (4+ resets of unwanted vaults) tokens that can be used to turn any raid loot into essencially the Fated raid items where they can be upgraded to mythic maxed item level. this way bad RNG vaults can still feel like progress all be it slow so mythic raiding time and effort is still respected and rewarded.
Something like this would help keep players playing later into the season and potentially even encorage players to try more challenging content by opening up the highest ilvl later in the season for all players.

The vault vendor should just let us buy a track upgrade item, and only after unlocking specific requirements.
M+ items: having timed 10~20 runs will unlock the upgrade for the vault reward. Say we put this on 20 and you run 20 keys that would reward heroic track in the vault, then you’d be able to buy this track upgrade item from the vendor with 6 vault tokens and lets you upgrade a normal (champion?) to heroic track item.
Say you completed 20 runs that would reward you a mythic item in the vault (+10), you’d then be able to buy the item to upgrade heroic → mythic track upgrades for 6 vault tokens.
For raid this could be 10 bosses. I think that includes the last 2 on heroic, meaning after several weeks you’ve be able to upgrade your heroic track raid gear to mythic level.
No HC raid bosses award mythic track, they only award gilded crests for Court and Queen.
Then you’ll have to farm the first few bosses on mythic, which will take slightly longer and in no way interfere with CE.
