Maybe stupid question, but does anyone know how to disable raid warnings (/RW)?
I looked around, even among many addons and couldn’t find it anywhere.
Reason i’m looking for it, because a few raid leaders i know abusing it and this dinging horrible sound is constantly in my head.
It is really strange to me, that Blizzard does not offer this option in it’s basic UI.
You mean pug Raid leaders? I have been doing pugs etc and honestly i never had any issue with Raid Warning. As far i am aware you can disable it by going in your chat settings inside WoW, you should have the chance to disable various chat like General, Trade whispers etc including raid warning.
But honestly i dont advise you to do so, RW is pretty much essential in this game and pugs.
i do mostly casual bg’s and there RL’s can spam like 2 /RW’s per sesond
i see what you saying, but i can’t move Raid Warnings to separate chat window, i’ve tried
There used to be an addon called “quietbosses” but as far as I can remember it is long out-dated.
EDIT: /script RaidBossEmoteFrame:UnregisterEvent(“RAID_BOSS_EMOTE”)
works aswell but needs reapplying everytime you loadscreen somewhere
