Hi i know this topic was many times sayed but i want keep it going coz of that how much this addon is doing problem to day also i must say its in huge fail blame to blizard after they done mythic + scores they today destroyed fun of doing mythic plus dungeons.
I remember when in legion there was no thing like that yes there did happen bad dungeons sometimes but finding group was faster and more easy now everyone look on raider IO and many times they demand 2x more of it than dungeon require, all will say âask guild or friend to helpâ thats realy stupid text for people who sounds for me like no lifes who dont care about players that dont have time to farm dumb score every day just to get into group, or text like âmake your own groupâ pls dont say me text like that coz you dont know then how it is for low score players who dont have guild that help doing dungeons and many times in guilds there are already groups that do together keys and rare help others i know it from first hand.
Anyway back to topic problem with raider io is that it realy make hard for fresh players get any chance to even do mythic plus dungeons how it work for game? well every bad many players feel bad coz of it and stop playing game, also its not that easy to make group coz people now are checking even group leaders so its even harder to find people to own group coz of that addon.
This kind of addons should not exist coz game should not be sign up for job but fun where you can relax and spend time with other people but many times its not and moust time its coz of addons like Raider IO, many people will say Raider io is great but that just they are not in sytuation of players who dont have all days to play like them and who would want do that weekly dungeon and be done with it.
so pls remember commenting here think about everyone not just your self and how Raider IO and other addons like it make game less fun for players espesly new ones who are kicked out from community.

In Legion it was just as common to see a group say âchecking wowprogressâ as it is now for people to use the in game addon that gives a score.
Raider io is just your experience in mythic plus translated into a number score. It is a system most players understand and use to gauge how successful an applicant to their group will be. It will even show the highest key that person has done in the dungeon they are applying to.
If you have done every dungeon at +15 you will have a score just under 2k. If you are playing on an alt you just need to get 200 score and then you can show your main score if you are registered on raider io and have linked your characters.
Anyone can build up a score, it just takes a bit of time. Push your own key and then improve the score for each run. It is far easier to do keys with friends, guildies and other community members than it is to pug alone. If you want stress free keys with no leavers join a community like Scared of Dungeons. I hear nothing but praise for them. Other communities also exist, do look around or join multiples.
I said it many times and ill say it again. Every time there is âdelete rioâ post it is coming from someone stuck, or entitled, usualy for their own fails.
The addon isnt perfect but is far better than any other option to meassure experience and skill we have rn.
So yea, build your rio, learn how to use it properly, and its not that bad, even for new players.
People would just look at their armory instead. Which is even harsher because it will only show your highest timed key. Raider io at least scores you on keys you fail too.
Just using mine as an example to illustrate:-
There is also no seeing your main if you are levelling an alt and people wont always believe a character is yours if you link it in a random group
Create a group for Freehold M0. Call it âmount runâ. Complete the dungeon and receive a +2 key.
Create a group for this +2 key. Call the group â3chest alt runâ. Complete the dungeon for a +3-+5 key depending on the success
Proceed by creating a group for the key you received. Continue until you have completed a dungeon on the key level of your liking
Protip1: you are a Warrior. While you can easily DPS, you can speed this all up by tanking. People will rather sign up to keys where a healer and/or a tank is already signed up
Protip2: on this journey, you will meet a lot of new people. Add the ones you enjoy playing with on battle.net - once you have enough people to regularly play with on your battle.net list, you wonât need to list your keys in the group finder anymore
Protip3: try not to use raider.io when inviting people and start making the difference youâre hoping for.
Same goes for you. Think of others. If I have to blindly invite people who donât know the dungeon mechanics and I fail my hard-earned key, itâs also less fun for me.
If you want to blame Blizzard then at least blame them for something they created, which is not raider io.
And no, raider io doesnât have to be deleted, because there would be something else people would judge you and almost all of them would be more punishing. Do you want people to look at your armory? Or your wow progress or your logs?
People still need to realize that they either need to get better, or if pug life is not for them, then they have to find a community or guild where people donât care about raider io. Itâs literally that easy, and iâm not interested in the typical âi donât have time for a guildâ excuse, because if you have time to pug then you certainly have enough time to immediately make a group with your guildies.
OP, R.io isnât the issue⌠people will always find some metric to judge a player they donât know⌠more so when it now involves a key that can have a detrimental impact if you brought in a clueless player to have said key wasted.
Yes, and before raider io, people required insane item levels. Itâs stupid, but thatâs because people will always find a way to filter out who they want to invite and will always have unreasonable requirement. Thatâs not the fault of raider io.
If you canât be bothered finding a guild or a community, thatâs on you.
I have a full time job, I barely get a few hours of free time to play a day, if I even want to log in. I go days without even logging in. I donât always want to spend all of my free time on this game. Yet Iâm doing just fine and raider io has never been an issue for me, not even in Legion, where I didnât push and wasnât in a guild.
If you get kicked out of a community itâs probably for some other reason, not a low score.
So basically youâre not willing to make any effort towards doing keys, but you expect everyone to invite you regardless. People will always find a way to filter out players who are undesirable to them. Nobody wants to push a key only to have it depleted by someone who they knew nothing about prior to inviting them.
What you really want is for people to know absolutely nothing about you when you apply to their M+ group. What you donât realize is that if that was the case, nobody would want to pug anything anymore because the chances of somethnig going horribly wrong would be astronomical.
I know you dont wanna hear the friends, guild and community tips, but seriously! Just build your network and rio isnt something you have to use.
I came back to wow in bfa after being away for 8 years. I havent pugged a single key. My friendslist was a bit empty after 8 years away so i went looking for new friends. Joined a community and started doing keys there. Now i have a set group i push keys with.
Removing rio wouldnt get you into groups, they would just look at your armory instead.
Hmm i saw so many threads like this over time but I think youâre fighting the wrong thing here, the part of m+ that causes your issues is not the third party raider. io but the current key system.
They brought over the D3 rift system without you being able to choose difficulty or dungeon which leaves us with another time gate fiesta. Letâs say you wanna run a specific instance for a specific piece. You need to roll the right key (very unlikely, and if you do it once its gone) or have someone post it, in the right difficulty when you are online in either a pug or your guild. Thatâs it.
If you could just pick and choose instances and difficulties most of the associated stress and time wasting would severely diminish and the issue youâre currently having would be much less prevalent, without ever having touched the raider .io addon.
Your plea goes out to Blizzard about a 3rd party addon, but in fact itâs Blizzard themselves currently creating an environment that breeds stress and therefore toxicity and exclusivity, which in my opinion is the main cause of issues of people with M+ as itâs current structure is very unfriendly towards building a good MMO community.
sorry but you sound like no life players and as i did say not everyone got time to farm RIO plus you can check me and see iâm not week player but coz of ppl like you there is hard to get groups coz you look too much on that scores ppl with lower scores are just kicked away i did pref when item lvl was more to look at coz atlast then it was more easy to get than dumb raider io score

Well, do you want people just blindly invite anyone who applies to their group? You get only 1 chance on your key⌠And especially ilvl is no metric anymore. Not at all.
In Legion, there was more M+ because Legion was a superior extension compared to BFA. So⌠More people played legion than people are playing BFA.
Thatâs the main reason. Not RIOâs fault.
