My group mainly used it this season just to see how high we could get.
One of the things that’s been really lovely to see on most of the profiles is how people’s scores went up over the seasons.
I know they added more dungeons but still been nice to see that progression on most regardless of what level people play at
Becouse of the mount i guess, not many cared about all +15 before the mount.
This is the exact answer i waited. This is the topic where i wanted to go and you made it easier.
The idea is that we should not be put in a situation where a score determines if i will be accepted in a group or not. The core idea of the game wasn’t designed to put players into “categories” where the higher the score you have, the more “liked and accepted” you are.
This “topic” makes me remeber the current situation in China for example, where people’s lifes depend on a score that tracks things like : how much you like the comunist party, if you obey the laws, if you don’t have “freedom ideas” , etc. And based on that score, you are more likely to get employed, to get childcare benefits, to get healthcare benefits, etc. Basically, it’s a tool to turn chinese people into sheep to obey and never question their government.
And Rio does exactly the same in WoW. The less informations are about you as player, the less likely is for you to get invited in parties, less likely for you to progress and so on.
This is the thing that ruined WoW and made it to be how it is: this “centimeter contest” between players, which divided the community and made WoW the most toxic game ever. And what’s the consequence of this? Well the first and most important: WoW lost millions of players.
You must understand that WoW is a game. And addons like Rio forces players to take WoW as a second job in their life. And people needed to make choices: should i waste my free time building a character and becoming a ultra-pro dps for mythic plus dungeons that drop the same loot or should i spend time with my family and kids, go holiday, etc ?
This is supposed to be a mmorpg: a game where players cooperate to achieve a goal, not where players compete vs each other on who makes more dps. Blizzard didn’t made the difference between the PVP aspect of the game and the PVE aspect. They put them both in a competitive state and here is the results: a total failure.
The game should be designed in such a way where players should not compete in PVE, they should compete only in PVP. But ofc, you can’t understand these ideas…you are too big “Blizzard fan” to understand their failures, as usual.
Go on…put more links and screenshots and explain us how dumb we are that we didn’t knew we have the option to opt-out…you do a great job.
And you forget the people only playing because of RIO
Where do you get your numbers from, the bottom half of your body by chance?
That’s real cool, but it makes me realise how little I really played BFA lmao.
In the past my stats would be nice to look at, this time around it’s like… the first year didn’t exist, then 8.3 I took seriously for like 5 weeks.
You’ve run Mythic+ on a total of 7 classes and 11 specs. Your most
run spec? Unholy Death Knight
I really like that feature, I’ve gone from 1 main only to playing 7 classes, and I had no idea i played my DK more than any other class, and I prefer ranged generally speaking too.
Actually you get that info from Rio itself. How ironic, that the addon which ruined the game also can be used as a tool to estimate WoW’s population. Now, WoW has a max of 3,5-4 mill players worldwide (that means all regions combined, NA, EU, Asia, SEA, etc).
So the math is easy: in Legion WoW was at around 7-8 mil…now is halved. Boom…there you go.
Correct. Don’t expect anything more from that guy.
You’ve run Mythic+ on a total of 8 classes and 19 specs. Your most run spec? Holy Priest .
Your most active week’s affixes were Fortified, Teeming, Quaking, Awakened . You ran 45 keys with those affixes, timing 93.3% of them.

Closest Key
He was talking about the 3 halves number…
The score is a reflection of the players experience. It is a non biased direct translation of what they have done. This in turn gives a leader an idea of how much of a help or hinderance the person will be to the key they are going to run. You can even see if it’s an alt (if you are registered on the site) and see their main score.
When a person applies to a group it also shows the leader what the highest successful key for that specific dungeon the player has completed and how many runs that person has timed in certain brackets.
Anyone can build a score if they want to. But just like any content in the game that isn’t an automatic queue you have to be reasonable. I would expect that character to get into a +15 unless my friends were carrying me. I would expect to get rejected. However on my main I get in very easily. The +9 I did was clearly boosted (by a friend) as my lowby 3 chested it.
It is not about the score, it is about the specific dungeon info.
M+ is a 1 try win or lose game mode. You do not get, like with raiding, wipe and try again. So if someone wants to be part of a group where someone elses key is used, that player takes the risk. The keyholder’s key is going down when the content is failed.
So when rio is showing no experience in the dungeon at all, why should the keyowner take that player? These complains are here only because of players not wanting to take the responsibility of creating their own groups, with their own key. And then feel entitled for a spot in a dungeon that they have never done. Over someone who does have experience.
People don’t know how to process alts on it at all. I was told on a paladin alt that my main’s score doesn’t translate to playing well enough on an alt. Both characters were paladins.
This is where I cannot stress enough about how valuable guilds and communities are in this game (from a personal perspective). If I hadn’t joined Scared of Dungeons, my S4 score would be about the same as my S1 score, therefore negating the reliance on rio.
My personal opinion is that it has its uses above +10, where you have all 4 affixes and you need a solid group that know what they are doing. However, it’s not really required below that for 3 affixes if your group has any common sense above spamming a few buttons. In short, I’m neither for it or against it, it has its uses in certain cases
i still ‘win’ this

Pugging is honestly the worst way to experience Mythic Plus or most content in the game IMO.
Oh my holy cow…i writed “half” in “”, purposly…those poeple are silent…removed from system because of rio, since their sub is canceled they cant even come to forum… Its not my fault if your brain dont have cappacity to understand… work on it, thank you
