Raiding as holy priest and doing high m+?

I just leveled a holy priest to level 60 and I’m about to do dungeons. I leveled my priest to become disc but wanted to learn the ropes as holy. I’ve seen guides of automaticjak and reading a lot and today there was the quest for a world boss with 2 holy priests with ilvl +200 and I was impressed thought it wasn’t played as much. According to raider io there are 4500 disc priests and 1600 holy priests in mythic+ 15 so I was impressed and didn’t expect that. So I was wondering if there are mythic+ raiders who play as holy priests. I saw that there are a few bosses in CN where disc priests just switch to holy. All videos about the best healers in shadowlands put holy priest as the weakest but was wondering how people do in the healing meters in raiding? Spoke to a few holy priests who heal in CN and they’re behind the resto shaman but still they’re managing so is holy priest as bad as the videos say or is there more of a nuance? I’d like to know because I’m a fresh holy priest looking to get into m+ and raiding. Just gearing the couple of days and I’m off for fun. Thanks!

Afaik, holy is the worst, but nothing is unviable.

Holy has a lackluster toolkit that makes most other healers way more useful, but they’re not “bad”, just not as good.

Basically sums it up.

I’ve been trying Holy with the Flash Concentration legendary. It has strong througput and mana efficiency throughout long fights, making it quite powerful. The downsides are the need to stand still and cast a lot, and being generally weaker if you have a lot of healing in your raid - since you’re using spot heals overhealing becomes higher
