Pug Andys HATE him: raid effortlessly with this one trick
I hear this all the time and it makes no sense to me.
If you only have two hours to play, haven’t you considered that this game isn’t for you? MMO-RPGs are not meant to be played for 2 hours, they’re designed to be LONG time syncs and after many, many weeks of grinding you’re rewarded for your efforts in some way.
If you have two hours to play WoW, play Retail. Simple.
Whenever I hear people say “We need LFG/LFR” it makes me cringe as we already know without ANY doubt that both of these things kill ALL the social sides of the MMO-RPG. There isn’t even an argument to be made for the defense of LFG/LFR. You can’t argue with the clear evidence that is Retail RIGHT NOW.

Your comment is insane.
If I play 2 hours everday for 7 days a week, that’s 14 hours a week. Simple math.
Say on average there is 4 weeks in a month, that’s 56 hours a month.
This is more than enough time to grind out anything in game.
However, if you are subjugated to community organised content like raids (Not dungeons). Time played per day is a major issue. You’ve just turned it into a game where people with no life succeed and the average person cannot.
If I had 14 hours in 1 day to wait to join a raid, I’m sure I wouldn’t have a problem and this post wouldn’t exist.

They say join a guild but the same gatekeeping exists for guilds that exists for PuGs. If they hadn’t just announced P3 there would be no point to play anymore.
Lots of posts of “I want the whole playerbase to bend to my will because of whatever it is that is conditioning my time playing”.
The entitlement is, once again, real.
All I see is excuses to justify this entitlement.
Excuse 1- I find it difficult to join pugs and/or join a guild.
You must be the only few people in the whole god damn game to find it difficult to join a guild. One of my characters’ guild has over 900 members. People join every day. Multiple Gnome and BFD raids are hosted every day, many times on the spot. The average raid organization process takes 10-20min.
Conclusion: You’re not even trying.
Excuse 2- My time to play is limited.
There are plenty of games designed with this in mind. One example is League of Legends. You can literally have less than 1h available to play in a day and be able to enjoy it. An average game of LoL takes around 30minutes. WoW, on the other hand, is not designed that way. WoW is designed to be what most call a “time sink”. A time sink, as the name implies, requires a lot of time available to play the game in order for you to be able to properly play it (and by properly I mean to the point where it becomes an enjoyable experience, generally speaking).
A game of Civilization takes many hours to complete, on average. Many times players play it on a mode where you can “play-and-go”, making the game develop over several days, because to play the whole game without stopping means very few people would have that availability. If I wanted to play it like that but did not have the time to do it, should the game be the one to blame? Or should I realize that maybe that mode isn’t for me? A normal person would reach the basic conclusion. Entitled people seem to believe that the game should bend to fit their schedules.
TLDR: the world does not, and should not, bend to your entitlement. If you’re not even trying to fit in, don’t act like it’s the game’s fault.

The best pugs raids leaders left SoD to prepare Cataclysm, what did you expect ? Why would we bother forming raids in a game where we are forced to play like communist and hated ?
Guilds are something completely irrelevant theses day (unless you speedrun). We are not in 2004, you need to understand that the majority of the player base doesn’t want to join a guild for raiding and will never join a guild for raiding. They prefer to play with their friends in their little own community.
People don’t understand that only nolifer like us are willing to join and invest a tons of time in guild raids, but we are a minority.
20-man raid gonna destroy the pug scene even more without GDKP. And I don’t want to talk about 1 week lockout … this is what it is. Enjoy I guess : ninjalooter, people leaving mid raid, master loot alt f4, and 1 week lockout where you are screwed for the entiere week.
Dude, all of WoW’s social interacrion moved to Discord like a decade ago. Realm discords are THE place to find guilds, trade, join stable pugs. Like I can not imagine just going to trade and joining some griefing parody of a raid, just go discord, LFM 10 man channel and join the server of some stable raid team.
I mean it’s like that one guy refusing to join ventrillo in 2008 or something, citing it is a third party program. Well your loss I guess, you are perma benched now. How did you even raid until now? I haven’t been in a raid without discord voice since 2019…

Welcome to MMORPGS, that’s literally the entire point of the genre! Retail has some fun side-games for casuals like pokeymans, you should maybe play that. In classic you SHOULD have massive advantage over others if you have 8h+ to play.

odd this isn’t classic and the functionality is available in other MMO’s and work successfully for the larger player - base not the stupid ones who use mods to fight bosses and claim to be good when a comp did it for them… especially when the bosses themselves are as easy as it gets, you’re all the one’s with excuses. try remember you are only one person and there are others with just as much right as the next guy to demand a feature they already know how to implement, to improve the quality of play for them, a lot of idiots here are assuming they are some kind of authority on how everyone else should play or what they should do when half of you couldn’t even play the game without a program fighting for you. i am surprised a community can have so many morons who shouldn’t even be playing any games, let alone WoW. it also explains why blizz treat you all like idiots lmao because a vast majority of the WoW raiding scene who mouth off on discussions are idiots.
Literally every problem you have would be fixed with you joining a guild with discord signs for raids. I have very limited schedules to play yet I always find a way to get my raid clears with my guild. If you choose to not join a guild then its a you problem, not a game design problem.
Agreed. Many players feel they are entitled a raid spot. It also amuses me how much work people think joining a guild or discord community really is. Choosing to Pug raids only through lfg channel in-game and then whining in forums about game desing is new level on delusional.

yes because it takes a lot of work to use mods and programs to fight for you… for 90% of a battle at best, almost all a player in these so called raid guilds has to do is move their characters so lose the i am good attitude a vast majority of current raiders aren’t even good at it even their logs are useless unless they did it themselves. it is sad the minority of raiders are actual raiders anymore, yet a lot seem to go around telling others how they should be raiding it is hilarious.
No one is telling you how to raid. You are more than welcome to raid as you like but do not expect other people inviting you on THEIR raids. Most other things you say do not make alot of sense. You say the raid is easy and most raiders arent even good? but then you say logs are useless? The tool that is used to filter those said bad raiders. I guess you are one of those getting filtered.

no a log only proves you are a bad raider because once you hit a certain point and it is clear a majority are using mods and programs to auto cast at set intervals etc, it makes perfect sense to most of you who what i would call cheat and shout look at me afterwards lol. btw this doesn’t apply to all raid groups as there are still some that do them properly, sadly a vast majority don’t and have no rights to tell others how or what should be done. requesting a feature that benefits them in some way and is already implemented in other modes is perfectly acceptable. nobody using a mod or program to fight in raids is a good raider they are just good at moving around. logs are proof someone isn’t actually good at raiding once it hit’s a certain point.
oh and your log can also be artificially increased too if a team helps you dps.
Dude you literally are contradicting yourself constantly. Logs show that you actually know your class and are able to execute rotation in a raid environment on par with other players. But you have to be able to know how to read them. But if you have only gray or green parses that means that you are not a player who knows you own class.

no it actually doesn’t.
I can literally tell from our conversation that you are a player who expects other people to carry you around dungeons and raids since you give little to no output on said groups. And instead of trying to better yourself and trying to carry your own weight, you blame it on addons and WCL. Gnomeregan is very doable without DBM since most fights have 1-2 mechanics that require any kind of attention. If you know your classes right rotation you are going to make good dps which gives you atleast blue/purple parses which guaranteens you a spot in most pugs.

i can literally tell you are a cheat who claims to be a good player using mods for battle indications and skill casting.
i am not a loser who needs to be carried or use mods to do a game for me.
Yes I use dbm, but we have cleared gnomer with our guild without it no problem. I am not using ANY rotational addons so have no idea what cheats you are talking about. Maybe it is just time to accept that you are not that good in this game?

i am better than you at most games that i already know and i don’t need a log to know that much. maybe it is time you people understand using mods will never make you a good player or raider. and btw i know for a fact you are useless in a raid you haven’t done without a mod.
