Raiding should be the main focus of the game again

Sorry not sorry, but M+ is a detestable experience with more issues than it tries to solve. Raiding on the other hand captures WoW’s essence far better, emphasizing real teamwork and strategic depth rather than speedrunning a monotonous dungeon.
M+ forces players into strict metas which gatekeep bad specs (as if it’s their fault Blizzard knows nothing of balance), punishes experimentation, and turns toxic the moment a tiny slip ruins the run.
Raids on the other hand allow for an actual form flexibility, creativity, and a sense of progression that actually feels rewarding.
Taking down a final raid boss feels like an actual accomplishment, whilst endlessly grinding M+ doesn’t.
Either they need to completely rework the core M+ system from the ground up or ditch it all together.

Progression (mythic) raiding is the polar opposite of flexibility, and if anything they should rework raiding since it’s still stuck in 2010, along with most of its audience.

No thank you, I don’t have time anymore to commit to a job like guild.

M+ has problems, but you can play when you want and how you want.

How about just getting over the fact that the game now offers choices for every player depending on their preference and move on.

Unless you are playing in top 1% i doubt this affects you because each and every class is more then able to do 15’s atm.

Tell that to the pug leader who can’t breath without an Aug in his +4 because some Youtuber with 300 subs told him it’s an “S tier must have in every comp you literally are trolling without”

Then join a guild , community or make friends and run your own keys to make your own rules i guess.

Good thing m+ is optional then

So lead a pug yourself and be the change you want to see.

Oh wait, you’re one of those “sheeple”.

Also, no ty, I prefer things other than raiding. How about people letting what they like decide what activity they focus on.

Mythic raids don’t?

Just copy-paste whatever the world’s first racers did. Very creative, much flexibility involved. It’s just a matter of getting to their gear level while playing much less.

Just face it; you are just biased (or have no idea…works too).

No thanks, and I’m saying this as a person who does both. I vastly prefer M+, and it’s an excellent addition to the game since it’s fully customizable in terms of difficulty. If anything, M+ should be promoted as an alternative to raiding with the same reward track at specific difficulties (perhaps with raid cut-off for difficulty being lower to reward people who participate).

While I agree that M+ is a horrible game feature, I don’t agree that raiding should be the main focus. People should have a choice how they want to spend their time in WoW’s endgame scene.

You already have the best of the best gear from Mythic raiding.

What more “Main focus” do you want?

I have gotten more loot from The heroic runs i’ve done each week + heroic vault than i have from the M+ dungeons i’ve done.

You ever do anything on these forums other than post cynical meaningless comments? Typical contrarian complex from a Panda

There was nothing meaningless about my comment. I don’t care if you ignore me, go wave your virtue signaling little arms somewhere else classic alt.

no, im dont have so many friends playing wow to get a raid group and half of those who do play dont want to do a 5 hour raid once a week

if you want to waste hours raiding suit yourself, not all do.

I agree, raiding in wotlk feels amazing, the difficulty is perfect in hardmode. Mythic raiding feels awful in comparison, way too hard in all the wrong ways. Every time I mythic raid you come to a boss where you wipe 50 times+ and eventually I just alt f4 mid raid

I hate raiding so no.
