And I like it. Can we make heroic even harder and remove mythic raids all together? #gobackto2difficulties
I disagree. We just need to remove LFR and make normal Have group finder but keep it the same difficulty
What a fluster cluck that would be
I kind of like them as they are now. BFA/Legion for Normal/HC guilds it was over too quick.
Itâs a bad design, if all mythic guilds can just skip normal all together and go straight in and faceroll Heroic. In BFA almost half the raids on normal we one shotted in the first day⌠As all-druids. Casual guild!
We run out of content so quick, if itâs just tank and spank. We walked into the raid today, with an ilvl 155 requirement and still got almost 3 bosses downâŚ
As all druids.
No. The raid is not too difficult.
And can I just say how I find it so hilarious raids have been out for less than 24 hours and people are already crying over them? If you canât do it - outgear it, and try again.
I wish they did that actually.
This would solve the whole PvP gearing situation as well.
Honor gear would start at heroic dungeon ilvl and could be upgraded up to normal normal raiding.
Conquest gear would start at normal raiding ilvl and could be upgraded to heroic raiding.
How simple life would be. Wouldnât even need secondary stats or scaling!
Heresy!.. LFR is the only level with the âUtter Chaosâ mechanic, throughout.
Its only the first week give it time.
Yes! Mr Garrosh. We gotta give it time. Completely agree with you, you great looking Orc <3
I donât raid, but i appreciate good challenge for those that can rise up to that challenge. Regardless of adversity.
Sadly this is the wow community, your average casual will cry over and over this after LFR is out or tries heroic for the first time. And then itâs just a matter of time til blizz starts those hot fix marathons of nerfs to the raid. So depressingly.
Enjoy it, it will not last like this before next tier.
Heroic today was definitely difficult, although it did feel overtuned considering itâs only the second highest difficulty. I couldnât imagine a pug group going beyond the first boss with current gear and no nerfs.
You have less achievements in pve and pvp than my hunters pet⌠at what point are you gonna challenge yourself?
thatâsâŚliterally how it all started. any content that ends up in automated matchmaking will get nerfed to oblivion. this is a fact
Wait a bit until everyone has got some gear and heroic will be âeasyâ again. A raid like Nathria is nothing new.
I hate the Lady Inerva fight, if someone dies while he has a beam on him its INSTANT wipe.
You have not done any shl content yet ⌠What do you mean âŚ
I mean I think Mythic raids are too hard in general these days, but those who live for Mythic progression might disagree. Heroic tends to be too easy maybe, but the current system exists to cater to the masses while still giving the dedicated hardcore something to do, perhaps the issue is the huge jump at Mythic and the void inbetween.
This!
Itâs ridiculous what number of problems all these difficulties are causing. And itâs not like it does us much good, either, as barely anyone at all does Normal.
As far as LFR goes, while I understand some players who donât have the time for Heroic might want to just experience the raid, and some other reasons here and there, I think it would be better for the game if it was removed as well.
imo the top difficulty exists for something to strive towards, but donât reach for a long time. the problem are guilds that canât finish before the next raid comes out, and the people get burned out. this curve is mitigated by the gear you get each week, so âtoo hardâ means the impact of gear is too low for the weakest progression guilds to finish a raid before the next one hits
LFR is fullof peoples haveing no idea about mecanics even stands in fire and dies then they like huh how did i die
Guilds getting burned out is a real issue though, example being the level of optimisation required and the average amount of pulls to kill Nzoth, it was ridiculous. And what that actually means in reality is that most guilds just give up because their players donât have the time to invest, no matter how skilled.
In WOTLK Blizzard fixed this problem in ICC with a scaling raidwide buff, similarly in Dragon Soul, in WOD (HFC) they did it with the scaling ring + additional bonus item upgrades. These methods were successful in that regard. Most of those guilds who quit before clearing probably could clear the boss if they could actually put in the time required to kill it, but the dedication becomes excessive and players bail out and guilds fold.
If the hardest content is designed to be challenging to professional level players, who have optimised gearing to the extent of being weeks/months ahead at the starting line, the average player stands no chance no matter how skilled.
I think Mythic is too hard, Heroic maybe too easy. An ICC style solution would be ideal.
