Rain of fire

So playing warlock again and ive notice that if u cast Rain of Fire just before it hits mobs they already move and attack you… should it not be that they attack u after it hits them ?

Yeah you would think that’s how it should work but i guess it’s more of a visiual thing than anything else.

I prefer it as it is becuase if you had to wait for the viual to actually hit the mob first, then there’s always a chance the mob moves out of it or some other player pulls the mob out of it before you get the tag(s).

yes but if they standing still and it didnt hit them then its loosing the point of using it, at least give it some type of slow down or something

It does seem to hit them, just not visually and that’s what gives you the agro and why they come running towards you.

True, it would work better if it had a stun or slow effect to keep them under the effect. Depending on the situation you could send in the Voidwalker first to hold the agro and keep them in place or drop an infernal which stuns, or shadow fury.

the point is it should not agro without visual dmg taken on their health bar …if it doesnt take health and agroo before hit … thats mean they didnt get hit and got agrro XD
