P.s. a assume you haven’t watched Westworld if you consider it to be best sci-fi in last 5 years.
Its good but nothing much, but seeing ragnar in so called scifi utopia was a cheery on top

Did you perhaps watched “The 100” I loved that one, I’m at least season right now! 
Not seen it, but will look into it.
Best scii-fi I’ve watched recently is “See” although I wouldn’t consider it proper sci-fi, it’s just labelled as such.
For what I’d consider proper sci-fi my favorites in recent history have been Snowpiercer, Altered Carbon and Brave New World.
Have you seen Battlestar Galactica???
Pretty sure that’s the best one.

I haven’t watched it yet but considering its by Ridley Scott and has Travis Fimmel in it, i will def watch it. I am a very huge fan of the Alien movies and Vikings, so two great guys for me.
“Hated in Nation” was the best thing my eyes have witnessed.

I just finished watching raised by wolves after 10hour marathon. Its pure masterpiece. I watch almost everything but i have never sern anything like this before. Ridley Scott is mastermind behind this.
Atmosphere is same as Deadspace video game combined with Twin Peaks.
Im still shocked how much im impressed.
For a long time i havent get that kind of impact from some series. Cant wait for next season.

I’m quite fond of the show Killjoys.

Not one person has mentioned altered carbon??
I liked the first season of Altered Carbon but the second was a let down.

“best” is kind of subjective though.
It’s all just a matter of personal taste.
I had friends who raved about the Walking Dead, the first series was okay but after that I found it so dull.
