Ram usage setting

I got 6gb ram hardware on one of machines.
Usual ram consumption of warcraft at start is around 3.5gb and steady growing depending on how long i run it. Sometimes gets to 4.5gb+ and somewhat bricking my system.

If i start another memory demanding process (web browser for example) wow goes back to around 2.5gb, runs fair enough and stays there even when the other process is terminated.

My question: is there a console command, setting, script or run command to replicate this low ram behavior without running something else?
/console gxrestart
works but it defaults back to 3.5gb still.

I don’t care about performance or looks as long as it does not brick the system.

If you’re on retail, even the minimum requirements are 8gb, classic can handle with less on minimum requirements ~
I presume you have reduced the view distance already? And do not run any addons either?
With a simple google search I couldn’t find anything but doesn’t mean it doesn’t excist I guess.
