Are Ally dominant in bgs at the moment (they seem to be to me) and if so why?

It seems like Alliance are very dominant in random bgs these days. As a player with most toons on Alliance, this doesn’t affect me too much; just means I’ve found it harder to earn honour on my one Horde toon, as this is my preferred way of earning it.
I believe during BFA and Shadowlands, many horde players have transfered to alliance due to a series of nerfs such as orc racial, making humans, Dark Iron Dwarves and Night elves far more appealing for PvP min-maxing, other than that, leading a horde team requires a lot of patience, and most of the times simply ignores calls.

Yes and the more hordes get pwned the more transfer to the Alliance because no one likes never get the chance to get the supply crate or lose most of your battlegrounds.
Maybe there should be some kind of warmode we could queue into with better rewards but more even between factions.
Naturally if you want to be on the fotm side you need bigger queues witch leads to more roll horde.
There’s no data on this. All we know is that alliance races seem to be more popular among competitive players. Then again, the average level of play in casual bgs is very low and a skilled player should be able to carry their team no matter what faction they play for.
Looking for ways to become better at the game is typically more effective than looking for greener pastures when it comes to winning more rounds in casual bgs. Players can try to improve their gear, their objective gameplay, their builds and their mentality for instance.
I propose abolishing the factions and assigning all players randomly to the red or the blue team while allowing friends who queue together to be sorted into the same team, like in blitz.
They are. I havent won one since the Wednesday reset.
Yeah the game is just flat out unplayable as horde atm, you get a fair shot at a win maybe 1 in every 10 bg. The other 9 games are just your team getting facerolled & GY camped, as the majority in your side is still gearing.

Actually I’ve realised that the real problem isn’t earning honour, since it’s Warbound transferable, but the affect on Alliance queue times. 7 mins average wait isn’t that bad to be fair, but fairer bg balance would presumably bring them down, God permitting.
Funnily enough I’ve lost 2 out of 2 as Alliance today, although I did have to answer the door for an important delivery at rather an important point in one of them.
