Random BGs with Premade teams

Agree with you totally, a fair balanced system would be fine.
However it’s just not right now.

A single solo queue system only would encourage more people to the PVP arena because right now they get rofl stomped by a 5 man or 2 x 5 man in their quick queue and its not fun having no chance to win.

Sitting choosing to rez to instantly die from being GY camped or not doing risking being /afk out by the system is not great to encourage new players?

Just afk out if premade and go solo shuffle/skimrish when u got deserter.

That’s not a solution though, why should the majority not be allowed to play?
And it still doesn’t encourage new players to enter PVP.

Solo queue for solo players, its not hard to implement.
Right now no one is stopping groups playing but groups are stopping solo players from playing.

It’s the solution atm becouse blizz don’t care, i got in to a green team just vs full premade u think i wanna stay?

I think the biggest problem is Blizzard has everyone fighting each other so much no one ever gets the game improved because there is so much toxic in the world / forums.
And that’s how big companies like it, we fight each other rather than pool together to initiate change that cost them money.

I don’t think you grasp the problem here.

When people talk about ‘premades’ they don’t mean the occasional 5-man group of friends. They are talking about 15-20 man premade Discord clowns. These people aren’t playing with friends, they use 3rd party resources to sync queues and end up in the same bg with 15-20-40 player coordinated groups.

No one is asking to ban 5-man groups from casual bg’s, but almost everyone agrees that exploiting the queue system to make a full team premade is something only idiotic sociopaths do in order to circumvent the 5 man maximum Blizzard has set.

There are 2 ways Blizzard can solve this.
If they allow it they need to lift the 5-man limit so everyone can make premades in group finder without having to join a Discord filled with this sort semi-cheating scumbags (like the 0 IQ Shaman in here) I never even want to play with in the first place or sanction the people that use 3rd party resources to exploit the queue system.

Edit: …and yes, I agree that these premades should face other premades in case Blizz allows them.

Thing is we already got rated bg, premade vs premade but they don’t wanna play that becouse it’s to hard for them, they wanna stomp people in green gear.

The OP to which I was replying to stated that any premade is faceroll, even the standard small groups. I’m not denying that the Epic Bg premades give a huge advantage over a team of pugs.

There are a lot of people on these forums asking to ban even 5-man groups, because it is their belief that these premades are the reason they lose BGs. But it isn’t.

I guess option 1 might be worth a try, even though people will then complain that there are large premades while being lazy to join/make such a premade themselves. Honestly doubt Blizzard will invest resources into removing the premades that avoid the 5-man limit, as this is an old issue they never addressed. But who knows.

yes people are asking to ban 5 man groups in this very thread, a 5 man team can dominate a random BG.

I will change my statement then: MOST people are not asking to ban 5-man groups.

I’m all for letting premades face premades and solo’s face solo’s and I would rather advocate to lift the 5-man restriction and let people make groups for casual PvP. If they make it so premades face premades I don’t see the need to restrict it to 5 people max.

It would open up casual bg’s for guild or social teams trying out different tactics and practicing without suffering a penalty to their rating for experimenting and it would keep the solo players in solo content. Also, it would eliminate the discord exploitation overnight.

Not sure MOST people would agree.

Today has been one pre made after another and honestly its utterly disgusting.
Generally its a free win with no chance to fight back, explain to me how that’s either fair or healthy? It’s bullying that’s it.

If most people want 5 man pre mans? Then no one should mind 5 mans vs 5 mans? or any premade vs premade and leave us random solos to ourselves.

To be fair since fair is what’s wanted, premade queue would have to be 5+5 in one team v 5+5 in other team, or 3+5+2 parties versus 3+5+2 parties. Can’t have 5+5 versus 2+3+2+3 for example, would not be any fairer or unfairer than solo+premade. If party sizes forced to be same per team might be ok. But that could mean very long queues if both teams had same size parties forced.

Prob easier to leave it as solo+premades in randoms, and true premades in rated bgs. Current solo+premade 1+1+1+4+3 is not so much different from premade queue of 2+3+5. A rated team of 10v10 is for organized pvp. Randoms are for 5+5, 5+4+1, 3+2+1+1+… etc.

For randoms, in a single bg it may not work out, but over the course of a random bg session of say 10 bgs it should work out that sometimes you have premades and sometimes they have premades. Sometimes they are more geared, sometimes you are more geared. Sometimes you have more healers, sometimes they do. That’s what I find anyway. Works out for the most part pretty good.

You should read the thread before hijacking it for your own topics… ^^

Premades wouldn’t be so dominating if the fact that 2+ healers in bgs like wsg can make things just not die. Healers are balanced for arena with dampening. Theres no dampening ing bgs. Wow is a pve game mainly with pvp balanced around arena.

The problem isn’t friends and never was. I can queue with friends and we still lose. But as soon as we queue with voice chat the whole balance changes.
Voice chat and organization around it is the big game changer.
Blizzard can’t ban voice chat, so the solution is to make a solo queue and a group queue.

The really sad part is the lazy excuse we have with premades who could easily join RBG, but prefer ruining random bg from level 10-70 in full groups with voice.

It used to be the case that groups had a seperate queue and were only matched with other groups. If you want to have super FUN and play with your FRIENDS (translation: gy farming and facerolling randos because you’re bads in rated) you had to suck up longer queue times. Sadly, as is the wont these days, Blizz caved to the vocal minority who spat their dummies out on the forums that they weren’t allowed to curbstomp pug’s to have FUN, so here we are.

Another day, another fail.

Annnnd that is why we need solo Q for Bgs. Let “”“friends”"" have fun against each other in random BG…

Spoiler alert: as soon as they face other premades and can’t stomp anymore they will stop queuing random bg as well. Too much premade dodging will eventually kill the mojo. Fair competition is not the reason why “”“friends”"" team with each other.

The most fun I ever had in this game was world pvp on timeless isle (we were two people fighting groups of 3-5 people). Or blasting casual stuff with my friends. It can be joining bgs to try out new tactics while messing around or just chatting while playing and not taking the game as serious as you would in a rated bg. After all this game is a MMO and they have groups of 5 for a reason.

I think that people sometimes take the casual part of this game wayyy too seriously. Random bgs have nothing to do with fair competition. They do not match people with same ilvl, same experience in rated battlegrounds, same class experience, same comp strength etc etc. You join it to have fun and that is it.

With that being said. I understand a lot of people find it frustrating against premades and personally IT IS harder to win a bg when you are against premades but that is also part of the fun. One time we managed to turn a tarren mill battle against a full premade around because we just started spamming tactics and we managed to win. In dragonflight people have more possibilities than ever to make that happen since everyone can get the same gear now.

Have you even been in a random BG recently? This is not what you describe.

I spent today again queueing into Random BG’s.
Lost 95% of them instantly to groups of “5 Friends”, removed any and all fun from the game the last few days to the point Im not bothered to continue.

This has to change or your small PVP pool is going to get smaller and no new player is going to go to BG’s again after a day being one shot or gy camped.

As for lower brackets? Party sync has killed them too.

Someone suggested above groups were allowed to queue into none grouped after lots of complaining? Well We need to complain then because this is not “Fun and engaging game play” and all I care to enjoy about wow these days, pick up play put down no fuss.

I play bgs almost daily and I do see what you are talking about. I am saying that the problem might be the mentality which somehow has come around. “Premade team let’s leave”. I face premades a lot of the time and as long as you just keep encouraging your team and perhaps help the people who aren’t doing objectives you can 100% win. The thing is that people aren’t putting in the effort at all.

The “REAL” issue with premades is when people are doing something which is beyond the functionality of the system, such as making 40man premade groups in epic bgs. Personally I don’t think anyone has 39 friends to play wow with and have an active conversation with at the same time - maybe people do but it becomes an issue. Especially if they are in discord and are strategizing.

The thing is, if people find that fun and it is not rating based or cheating how is it different from people making 20man raids in worldpvp and killing targets? People controlling the AH? Should we ban other people so “we can have fun”?
