This is true and false as I stated in my post before.
You can have a premade in random bg. Say you queue with 2 or 3 friends and still lose the game because they just pug by getting in queue together to have a higher winning chance and this isn’t what most people would call premade.
You can beat those with a good group of people that aren’t a premade when they know what to do in a bg and don’t fall for stupid zerg opportunities but playing objectives.
But your chances of winning drops drastically if the opposing premade is at least 50% of the team and in voice chat and sadly this is happening quite often right now.
I recently played a 10 man premade from someone who wrote on that forum here and we couldn’t beat them - not because they were exceptionally good, but coordinated over voice.
Their “2,3 million HK, 2,4k rbg achievement moonkin” was so bad in his 2v1 that he lost his healer and ran from the fight, still they won the BG by a large margin.
You can’t outplay voice coordinaten without coordinating via voice yourself and you can’t beat a 10 man premade with 3 coordinated people.
And the bigger the bg the harder is beating a premade even if they don’t use voice.
That’s why there should be solo queue for random bg and groups always ending up vs other groups and a mechanic that stops people from exploiting epic bg queues.

So another 24 hours in random BG’s.
Just about every single game was vs 2-3 small pre made teams or full 9 out of 10 man groups.
These teams zerg and one shot everything with freighting efficiency.
Try and kill their healers? you don’t make a dent if you actually get them alone because there is always 3-4 and the dps zerg you in literally a stun.
Won 1-2 games in 24 hours, and I played several characters its ZERO fun to have NO chance!
This has been daily now.
Actually unsubed, not that anyone gives a toss, however facts are facts until they fix this issue of basically cheating (its the same as multiboxing), but I promise Im not the only one feeling this way.
Solo queue needs to be a thing in todays game.

Imagine you’re too bad to play on your own, but hey, you do you, be bad and abusive the system. Eventually you will moan, just another scum trying to be good while ruining a thing literally called random bg. But seeing you haven’t done anything above average in particular you should be proud of yourself actually playing against random teams.

And when faced with facts, truth and a valid argument? Resort to name calling and trying to degrade the other side.
Thanks for validating everything said in this thread about what’s wrong with solo only queues.
I just met an epic bg premade.
Wow. xD Why is this allowed?
It is not really allowed. Blizzard doesn’t want it by they don’t care enough to fix it again. They broke it once, but now it’s back and worse than ever.

You should read more threads on this topic because a vast majority of the people bringing up the topic are talking about the Discord coms premades and don’t seem to have a problem with 5 man premades.
A 5 man premade may make a difference in 10 man bg’s and that would still require a decent level of gear and skills, but that advantage will quickly diminish in epic bg’s.
But like I said, I would rather see premades be allowed up to 40 ppl for all I care, but allow it in the game instead of gatekeeping it for a group of sociopaths that abuse 3rd party software to ‘bend’ the rules set by the game for everyone else.
No premade uses any sort of program or tool to queue into epic battlegrounds, Stop making up crap to suit yourself.

If you’re going to be toxic and troll at least be correct.
I would just like to point out, to all the people who say “just play RBGs if you want to queue as a premade”. You need 10 people to queue up in RBGs.
So if your group of friends that you want to go and play with consists of 2, 3 or 4 people. Then I’d say it’s a bit much to tell them to go find at minimum 5 other random people to queue up with first.
And this comes from a person who only finds enjoyment from RBGs in WoW.
PS: By “RBG” I refer to “Rated Battlegrounds” not “Random battlegrounds”.

Then explain Discord communities for exactly that purpose, please. Discord is 3rd party software.

Exactly this, Im not even after rated solo BG’s just put 2-5 man groups in the same queue and leave solo players to queue solo.
There is ZERO reason not to do this 5 minute change Blizzard.

Discord doesn’t inject or apply itself to blizzard and change any code within the client. Discord is a voice, video, and text chat app.
If you really do believe Discord enables players to cheat in world of warcraft then you would legit need to ban every raider, every PVP Player who does Arena / RBG and then ban every blizzard developer since they also use discord.
Premade members doesn’t use any sort of software or tools that break blizzards terms of service. Everything is done within the game with the game limitations.
There isn’t any addon or programs today that queues us with a raid group or more then 5 players.
So, End of the day Premades will still continue till blizzard steps in and removes queue as group, So continue going blue in the face because it won’t matter.

Would be nice if i could face only premades being in group with my friends and i dont mind longer queue time
Trust me you wouldnt if you play honorable.
When some premaders are losing, they leave the bg so it ends in a tie and you get 0 honor and 0 conquest.
They are giving me a migraine because I know I will either get farmed or end in a tie with no rewards ><
Except making matchmaking much more difficult because then the system has to count up the number of players in each group before matching them together?

I understand your point of view there, however I offer the queue time would be better.
Right now? The majority of players are solo, and spend the time farmed on grave yards or sat at one node waiting up to 15 minutes for the game to end without a chance to win.
I would trade my 20 minutes wasted (5+15 minutes) unable to have a fair fight for an 1 hour queue that I know if I won or lost it was fair and had a fun and engaging time.
The fact is you can spend an hour dead or stood unable to fight, even if the queue is longer its worth waiting for a chance to win.
I might even venture out and do other things in the game while waiting!
I personally have no problems with 5 man premade teams queueing. I mean I do it sometimes with 2-3 people. I just find it weird that premades over that number is allowed because then the opposite team has 0 chance but I am powerless to do anything.
If you premade and dont leave, thats great:D
It doesn’t just take a group of any specific size to guarantee a win. If that were the case, I’d never lose, because I almost never go alone. But I do lose some games, because sometimes the Horde is simply too powerful, or I made a tactical mistake or the casuals weren’t paying attention to leader calls or whatever other reason there is. There are lots of things that can go wrong and, talking from experience, something usually does.
When I started leading epic battlegrounds in early 2020, I practiced on my own in Ashran. I had no proper PVP gear, no premade group, no PVP guild, nothing that you claim is – in your words – “just a way for these loosers to dominate others”. Still, my win rate went to over 80 % within days. Prohibiting groups would not have changed that in any way. Plenty of people join in groups, but you never notice them because they’re unprepared and unorganized, and therefore hardly ever make a noticeable difference. So let’s be honest here: you don’t actually want to ban groups, you want to ban people that can lead your enemies to a win.
What really helps, is knowing the battleground, properly planning and preparing how you want to lead it, weighing the balance of opposing teams, taking into account what classes and how many healers, tanks, and damage dealers they have. Even details can matter. For example, if you were to lead Ashran, would you know how long it takes for the Frostwyrm or Nessingwary’s stampede to reach the individual flags on the road, including the time it takes to use the scroll? Most casual players wouldn’t even know why this knowledge might be relevant. And no one will blame you, if you don’t either, but then you don’t stand a chance against players who know these details and understand how to use them for tactical advantages.
At some point, you might consider that riding the zug-zug train on the beeline from the starting point to the enemy boss, is not the way to win an epic battleground. At least not while playing against an opposing team who are led by someone who done his homework before joining.
