Random disconnects and black char select screen after DDoS April 19th

Every since DDoS attack, myself and another guild member are suffering from completely random disconnects (never happened before this DDoS attack on April 19th). In addition to that, whenever we logout - character select screen is black. There are buttons available, but no characters visible, nor possibility to ‘Enter World’.
A lot of reading was done and these are the things myself and guildmate have tried:
-Reseting game settings
-Using Graphics API as Directx 12 / 11 / 11 legacy.
-Changing video settings to low/high.
-Updating all drivers (Windows, GPU, software)
-Disabling any overlay programs
-Running WoW as the only active program on PC.
-Reseting router, refreshing internet settings
-Clearing WoW cache files
-Running WoW in -Windowed mode
-Deleting and reinstalling the game
-Upgrading Windows (yes, upgrading windows…)
-Running Wotlk PTR (it doesnt have this issue)

Looking for anyone else who may suffer aswell? Possibly you found something we havent tried and it worked for you?

Reddit nerds suggest this has happened after every DDoS attack Blizzard has faced, and it was related to their database servers and whatnot. Nothing on how quickly it was fixed or if players could do anything to workaround this issue…

@Blizzard PLEASE FIX THIS, WE HAVE SPEEDRUNS TO DO.

Didn’t even know there was a DDOS.
I do get a black character selection screen for a second or two when logging in. My graphics drivers also crash sometimes when entering the game world or tabbing back into the game from another window, but I’m on a non-stable build so that’s probably why.
