I’ve been experiencing random re-targeting to targets I didn’t want or choose in m+ and island expeditions. Not sure what the cause is. I used to have unwanted targeting due to right click targeting, so I disabled right click targeting, using a couple of macros. I’m not sure if the macros no longer work, but just wondering if anyone has had the same problem and how to solve it, if anyone knows.

I must confess yesterday I misdirected all my aggro on a very edgy person Ina group and he was surprised as well😎
Test separately without any other of the possible factors and find what’s the trigger.
I guess it could be this, although I’m not sure hwy they would do this intentionally in m+, which would lessen their chances of completing them in time, but maybe it is unintentional. This said, it happens every dungeon and I’m pretty sure that includes dungeons I’ve done with no hunters or locks, so I don’t think it is this. The last m+ I did was with an s priest and ret pally. They can’t force me to target something I don’t want to can they?
I think the Op’s problem is that his target is being changed randomly not that mobs are randomly targeting the op in which case if i understood correctly it’s the first time i hear of this behavior
It might well be a return to the problem I had which casued me to start using macros to disable right- click targeting: i.e. right- click targeting macros aren’t working properly anymore. However, right-click targeting is disabled outside of m+ and island expeditions I think. I also think it is only friendly players and ncps that are being targeted against my will: never enemy players or npcs.
