We used to but blizz broke it and made the stuff on her head way bigger so now itâs clearly visible without addons.
It is a problem. Hekili is sitting on 31.5 M downloads.
Blizzard themselves came out and said that they needed to do better in encounter design since they made fights too boss mod reliant.
Sort of. The problem is that people are installing Hekili and calling the game easy when the truth is that for many players simply attacking a target dummy can be incredibly challenging with the default UI.
But as long as Blizzard keeps receiving the feedback that itâs all perfectly fine, theyâll continue to design classes and encounters around it. And they do, even from casuals. They just install these addons and use them as a crutch, then proceed to call anybody who doesnât a noob and defending the gent being so needlessly complicated.
But if these addons are broken so people actually need to play the game, theyâll start changing their tune, and thatâs something this game desperately needs.
Ideally the simplification and addon nuking should happen at the same time, but hey - Iâll take it. One will follow the other, of that you can be certain.

Its a rotation addon that if you follow it will give you real bad dps. That 32 million downloads has been done over 17 years, please look up and use facts before posting.
Its for people who are totally new to a class and get the bare min dps out of it nothing more its not a broken addon at all.
You want to pick a problem with an addon go with WA or DBM.
Hekili
Is absolutely awful. It will do you wonders to learn your rotation instead of relying on that.
Bruh.
I just got flashbanged in the dark.

Yeah thatâs your opinion, and mine as well tbh. I know the rotations and thats why I make custom auras for myself.
That still doesnât change the fact that a lot of people use rotation helpers for a numbers of reasons other then laziness.
Bask in the brightness!

You assume a lot for a fact checker.

You assume Hekilla is a problem when it is not. DBM has 440 million downloads , WA has 235 million downloads compared to 32 million over 17 years and 23 updates it really is a none issue.

You assume that all 3 of those addons use different api? If you check DBM, they already disabled everything that used range checking. If you go on the WA discord, there are help requests where WA creators have to explain why their auras donât work because blizz disabled range checking in combat.
If you read the original post on Icy Veins, you can see that WA and DBM already expressed their disappointment of this and I agree.
They didnât exactly have a lot of choice, Blizzard broke the feature, they had to adjust their adons.

You have no idea what you are on about frankly and talk in riddles and nothing coherent, i will not converse with you again as it is pointless.
