Roar of sacrifice should only require pet LoS, not both.
Explosive trap should have 0 arm time if it’s a knock back (Like it was in mop/wod, It was fine in legion because it was actually a damaging ability)
Carve as an aoe spell is fundamentally flawed, because it relies on guerilla tactics to even be worth pressing. Just replace it with butchery or buff it in some way, maybe make it so… the more targets you hit… the more damage your bombs will do? I feel like there are a lot of things you could do with it, but at the moment, it just feels awful to press.
Mongoose bite baseline.
Chakrams/Flanking strikes needs some utility to be even usable (root/slow maybe)
Latent poison as a talent, maybe to replace mongoose bite?
Coordinated assault should not require pet LoS.
BONUS ROUND: Tar trap should not take you out of camo if you toss it directly on someone, explosive trap/steel trap damage should take you out of camo. And if you summon your pet while in camo, its attacks should take you out of camo.
Something that might be overpowered but would be very nice.
Range kick (maybe like 10-20 yd)
Longer melee range (like in legion and ferals with balance affinity)
Caltrops pvp talent.
Snake trap baseline (4 sec root that doens’t dr with other roots and just summon a bunch of snakes that do 0 dmg but look cool)
Camo baseline, and put aspect of the iron hawk to replace it (maybe make it 5% dmg reduction cause 10% is a little bit too good compared to the other spells)
25 sec CD on freezing/tar trap. (In other expansions it’s been shorter than 30, but maybe not as insane as 12 seconds in WoD LMAO)
Some sort of hard hitting ability? Like flanking/explosive in legion. Or latent poison right now, maybe kill shot will fix this issue but idk, we’ll see. I was thinking of something like sticky bomb in legion, but it actually does dmg.
Just remove wingclip and give us a 20 yd ranged slow (like rangers net but without the root)
Instantly revive pet on a 6 min CD (haha 6 second cast time)
Fam, you know what I said already. Those are good changes, but as I said, if they never made mongoose base up until now, that just means they are not looking and never will look at the spec.
Look at the dire state of it on alpha. There is a 90% chance SV will go live in SL the way it is now in the alpha. The justification for it will be something like:
“We heard you cries for ranged SV, so we gave you abilities which require a bow and you will gimp your damage, but hey! You have a ranged option now”
Give up on SV, it IS staying like it is for the foreseeable future.
The ranged skills for survival are not part of the spec they are part of class identity which is evident in the new starting zones it’s not made for the spec they simply havnt taken it away which is no problem surv is melee. Can you use a macro to weapon swap? Ofcourse you can does it serve a purpose? Probably not but I’d feel like a boss haha.
Biccs ideas sound good I actually really appreciate a high ranking player tee asking the time as aloha gets tons of info and what seems like great feedback it’s great to see you coming here again to post this, this is how critism and solutions should be presented so thank you the devs can actually look and take something away from this
Which is why threads like these from the high-end people in their respective fields are important now.
