I’m rank 2, and working on rank 3. However I’m getting bored of WSG and there is still a ways to go for 4500 honor. If I get like 3000, will I loose all those 3000 or only part of it? Some say you loose all, some say you loose only a little, some say you don’t loose anything at all. But If I stop at 3000 will I be around 2/3 towards rank 3 coming next week, needing around 1500 next week?
They removed all rank decay for SoD release.

Nope u wont. U either finish rank or u stay rank2 0% . Nothing between .

I’m getting conflicting answers here.
Very long boring grinding in the worst BG there is it is then.
If u hit certain rank and u dont play at all, u wont lose ranks ( meaning u cant drop down) but if u are now rank 2 and wanna get rank 3 u need 4500 honor in one week. If u make 4k honor u will still be rank 2 0% after reset because u missed requirements .
It can be done like 2 hours realy, not thst big of deal

I’m on a PVE realm. WSG is the only option since the other BG are not out yet.
oh god. I can’t even imagine playing on a PvE realm. Ewww. Why would you do that to yourself? You’re missing the entire magic of what the game is about without world pvp.

I bet there are like 5 people staring down every shredder spawn in Stonetalon unable to do anything about the contestants, and whoever Salvages first makes gold. >_<

You can fight people during the Ashenvale event, it auto tags you.
You can also annoy people until they turn their PVP flag on. For example, Horde have a quest called Torek’s Assault in Ashenvale, where he attacks the little Silverwing camp. Torek is aggressive to Alliance, so you can just kill him whenever Horde are doing the quest.
Usually that’ll annoy them so they’ll flag PVP and try to stop you from killing Torek.
hahahah. Yeah wow, I have never in my life played on a PvE server. I just can’t even imagine it.
A massive part of what makes classic era so good is the PvP zones and the unplanned dynamic pvp encounters. I love it above all else.

Ah yes, very healthy and normal gameplay, much better than playing on a PVP realm. Not gonna lie I get pissed just reading this.

Since I revered with WSG, from the PVP event, and have no desire to get exalted, maybe I could try and arrange a horde killing group during the even instead. If notting else it will be a nice break from WSG every 2 hours. Need to find enough revered people to join though. Wich can be a tad hard on a PVE realm to find enough motivated people.

if you do 449’999 honor/week instead of 450’000 honor/week because you had to go to toiletts once in the week, you lose it all
this weekly cap/decay is ridiculous it got to go away from the game, and require no skill, you only need to sacrifice your Real Life in AV pve farm ~50 hours/week
and if you don’t sacrifice your life for this, you get farmed by players with Naxx gear$

Yes because ranked gear is already worse than AQ40 gear.
