Hey there,
I saw a game like this in the Zandalar Tribe forum and thought it sounded fun. So since I just got to Hydraxian Waterlords from Celebras, I just wanted to say hi and start this little game.
You may rate the name of the poster above you 0/10 to 10/10 and give a reason, if you wish.

9/10 - A very elegant sounding name, as befits a blood elf.

Oh, the Mistress is making an apperance!
Am I tasked to evaluate the name?
In most cases it is something that was given to us as we were living beings in the past, so we have no influence in our names.
As a Forsaken a name is just like a number to identify someone in our legions. No lingering feelings attached. Ok, maybe some hate in a few case. *snickers
Without some useless emotions a rating does not matter. Even if it is the Mistress.
Therefor it is neither good nor bad so 5/10.

I agree with the opinion of the Forsaken above. Even we who are alive seldom have any influence on our name when we bear the one that was baptized into our cradle.
Still - if a Forsaken chooses a name of their own, without emotional attachment to the name of their past, then it is a choice that can certainly be evaluated, because it might tell something about the person they became.
Though “Gerbrecht” evokes some associations (in German) that made me smile briefly (Erbrecht = right of inheritance, Erbrechen = vomit, Gebrechen = affliction) it still sounds like a good and appropriate name, if you don‘t take these associations into account.
Chapeau - I like to smile and I like appropriate names. 9/10
(Note: Niamh is pronounced Neve, not Njamm).

Niamh sounds like a nice persons name, like a trustworthy sister.
Sounds huggable but also talk serious things with and have-a-drink-with-able.
I like it!
Extra points for the nifty way it’s pronounced. Would not have guessed on my own.
10/10, would totally fight back to back with Niamh to defend the world from evil!

9/10 too few H’s (sorry, had to^^). Good name. Sounds like a fitting human name, honorable warrior vibes. I do like names that sound like names, but are no commonly used names in rl or very popular fantasy names. So you match my taste on this one.
Victory fo Sylvanas!

I alway wonder, when an undead has a telling name (welk-withered), if he had this name from his human life or if it is an aquired name and if the latter why people choose to call him like that. The way I understand the forsaken, they make an effort to delay the withering, so being the “withering one” would not have a positive connotation.
Having said that, the assosiation is so subtle that it doesn’t ruin the name
The sound image is spot on.

Actually, I leave it to the reader, whether it is a given or a telling name, but I did something I usually don’t do: I did hide two German words in there, that can also be read as telling, either both together or seperately (welk you spotted, Thron=throne is the other ).
I appreciate a name that sounds nice and also looks nice in writing, which is why I rate your beautiful and very elven sounding name 9/10. -1 just to be nitpicky because of my personal dislike for the è.

In my mind I connect Welkthron with some kind of transformers end boss …
The meaning is obvious for German players so this makes it somewhat better.

Tzarkan sounds exotic to me, like someone who knows dark secrets, has underworld or otherworldly connections and someone who twists and pulls dark forces to gain power and enforce their shady agenda.
Awesome warlock name!
10/10, will run for cover behind a Druid if I see you.

Moonpetal is a very appropriate name for a night elf moon priestess. I’m curious to know what IC background this name has.
10/10
Personally, I avoid such names for my characters when they are given directly in clear English/German. I prefer to play with the root words until I have a name that sounds similar but less direct and could work as a proper name without the background.
But it is different if I take the name directly from the native language for example Native American languages or here directly from Darnassian. But that’s my personal preference.

Oh, nice name!
Strong sounding - Powerfull!
It also goes great with “Thane”, as in “Thane Thumari”. Like a future dwarven matriarch.
10/10, totally going places in the Dwarven powerstructure.

Very Elvish! I like it!
Although…I hear Kael’thas voice line in my head when I read it, but still…I think it’s great name. Ishnu-alah Shallanore! (Ari tries her Darnassian language lesson.)
