The pants donāt quite fit.

@Vone This is a transmog thread not a set thread I think sestren was justified in his reply and I agree.
As for your mog Iād give it about 6 doesnāt really work for me but I like the theme you are trying to go for.
itās pretty good but it needs something a little more skullish on top, somehow doesnāt look quite right with a teensy, pretty belf head poking out the topā¦
Not a monk but an old pirate!
6/10
9/10 badass orc chick.
6/10 itās perfect for KulāTiran humans, but itās still a full set
The war paint really sells this one - love it! 10/10
5/10 base hetige armor
Hmmmā¦ Interesting look for a Vulpera, I might say.
I like it. Specially that you went all the way to get some simple vanilla swords, I personally prefer the simpler swords from vanilla with realistic āthinā blades, rather than those huge cleavers from WotLK onwards that they call swords. Just wish we got some updated textures/models for vanilla gear
9/10.
Not a 10 because itās mostly a full set, but looks great nonetheless, the non-set pieces match very well.
well they not swords they are Katanas
katanas are swords. Katana is just a general term for a type of sword in Japan.
Looks good. Too bad thereās no brown fur option for Vulpera, itād match everything so well.
9/10
Firstly, this is a transmog rating post, we are already digressing a lot with several non-related comments. But since you felt the need to get into semanthics, and I know about the subject, letās just put an end to it.
Secondly, yes there are several types of swords in Japan, but they are still swords, a katana is just one type of sword, itās not a gun or a polearm or anything else, itās a sword. I donāt even know why you felt the need to reply with āitās not a sword, itās a katanaā when it is nothing more than a sword.
Thirdly, Shinobigatana is not even a ārealā thing. Itās a modern invention that never existed anywhere in Japan historically. The pop-culture Ninja are not an accurate representation of the real Shinobi to start with. Much less those Shinobigatana or āninjatoā. Yes, there existed straight bladed katana, but they didnāt have that name, they were simply katana.
Fourth, inside the katana type you could find several different looks. They could range between 60 to 90cm in blade, if I am not mistaken, although the most common size was around 70cm. The blades could be straight or curved, and such curvature could vary but it would usually be around 2 shaku. Some of them even had a sharp edge on the back side, not all of it but just part of it, forgot the name of those blades atm, but I might edit the comment to add it once I remember.
Bottom line, katanas ARE swords. Idk the need for this little discussion tbh.
Edit: Also, why did you completly re-write your own comment?
Bro, he had already been rated xD
Not by me?
You would ffit to be a farmer for me where ever I will settleā¦ probally near thunderbluff, or soā¦ but no worries, I will take good care of you little elf pet.
