I think it would greatly benefit the variety of specs you’d see in arena since you don’t have to play the right comp or you are sure to fail. I find that aspect the most annoying about arenas. Just let me solo que, show my awesomeness and let me climp the ladder.
Don’t you guys bring the BS of things not being balanced. It’s getting old. Skill is still a thing. And no, DH’s or unholy DK would not rule them all. Neither would mages, rogues or whatever class you don’t like to play against. And yes, there will always be some classes better against other classes, but that’s goes for ALL classes, so why is rated 1v1’s a problem?
Personally, I like to play combat rogue, but of course we all know how well that goes in arena… However, as a solo player I could do pretty good.
I think it would really open up the pvp scene if you could solo que for rated pvp and I absolutely cannot see why that should not be an option.
What a silly comment. And even from a warrior, who should definitely be able to deal with rogues. Open your mind and/or eyes dude. Rogues are not the end all be all of PVP.

Yes, I’m serious. What’s the problem? If you feel the playing field is not even, who cares. You get to play EXACTLY what you want to play and then make it work. Sure you always lose to mages or whatever, but you will adapt and become better at fighting them and you will win more against other classes. It can be nothing but a better experience.

Because that is of course how it all goes down. l2p mate. Yes, I said it. And you don’t have to play 1v1 if you are afraid of losing to a rogue… Although, let me tell you something. I am afraid of fighting monks as well…
Why on earth would they do that? What do you mean when you say rock paper scissor? Yes, rock paper scissor if you get to fight a player better or worse than you, a different class than you, but those are good things. You may even get to fight a spec you never fought before because now it may be viable as solo. It would be amazing.
And one last word… If you are afraid to lose, don’t give a damn about fighting solo arena style, have a bad day or whatever, guess what - you don’t have to participate… It’s that easy. Isn’t it wonderful?
