This solo shuffle really has me pissed off. When im on round 5/6 and some idiot leaves for whatever reason and i get no changed rating or conquest after sitting for 15-20 mins of pvp. Give these leavers way worse penalties then a lousy deserter buff. they left for a reason. They arent about to queue up within deserter debuff anyways. makes no difference at all
New game play - RATED Solo Shuffle. Some of my Ideas / Suggestions.
I think there needs to be a RATING penalty for players whom leave the shuffle before the end of the 6 rounds. The âDeserter Debuffâ is not enough. At the moment I find to often, players whom are on a losing streak, leave before round 6. Obviously they donât lose any rating when leaving before the end of the match.
My suggestion would be, that if ANY player leaves. The player whom left, must have a Rating penalty. BUT, the amount of penalty points lost, must be greater/more than losing 6 rounds. For example : If you end up losing a max of 50points if you lose all 6 rounds. BUT only 20 Points if you leave before the end of the 6 rounds. I fear players will still abuse the instant leave. As they will lose less points.
BUT if you make it so that they lose 80-100 points for leaving. Regardless of how many rounds they lost, it will hopefully force players to sit through 6 round game. Maybe even add a hour penalty as well, where players whom left, canât que for new games.
Thatâs just my suggestion, as I am absolutely loving the idea of Rated Solo, but find to many people leaving before matches are finished.
Agreed, and so often do I come across players whom leave. Twice now, I had 5 wins out of 5, and then as soon as round 6 starts, someone left. And I got nothing for my effortâŠ
So Iâve been doing a few solo quees now, please for the love of thralls beard, block TANKS from queeing AT LEAST solo Q, seriously , there is no sinergy between 99.99% of any tank spec with any comp that you get thrown into. If you are a hybrid class with no death saves well you lose most of the rounds because you just get trained always. And such things just feel bad when playing the game. I imagine when season proper hits you are close to a milestone rating and then boom, tank quees in a row, youâve lost because the game itself is not meant to be played this way.
Tanks in BG already make the game extremely stale, in Solo Q itâs just plain bad experience.
All i want to do in DF is to play soloQ, its great! But please get rid of tanks, its so bad decision from you blizzard, it makes the game so unfun and braindead. Watch some ytb vids of r1 players talking about it if you dont listen to your âcasualâ duelists and glads players.
On top of that, tanks are so easy to grind rating with, you dont need any tactic or strategy to play tanks in arena, you litterally just PvE. Im not flaming any tank player just to make it clear, im flaming blizzard for this bad, bad decision.
SoloQ was intended for PvPers to play rated arenas, without having to spend 40 minutes in LFG to play one or two games. 3v3 arena is played as healer and double dps for a reason blizzard, tanks dont fit into that gameplay.
Why dont you ask your best players before making huge decision in PvP and completely ruin the best asset for us PvPers in Dragonflight, why do you say you listen to feedback then. Forums and youtube is full of complains about tanks.
If you really intend on having tanks in arenas for what ever reason, why dont u test it and balance them for a year or two on PTR until they have a kit into arena, to actually be usesfull, rework them and then put them into game. But you put buffed PvE spec into arenas and think that no one will abuse it and players will actually like it? Come on, right now we get more tank ques then healer ques, thats ridiculous and boring, not even the best of the best players enjoy it!

i wonder how this is gonna work. DF sys. seems to cap me as soon as im above 1400. then farts me down 100-150 points in one match. every time. now, after trying since 4 weeks, im fully stuck at 1316. i just won 5 rounds. with 2 kills. got me ZERO rating. (all other did)âŠ

Blame the people who asked for tank games to be removed. Before the change queues for dps was 5 minutes. Now though itâs very unpredictable, sometimes itâs 5 minutes sometimes itâs 20+ minutes.
Please bring DOTAâs system for leavers. There is one leaver every 10 games. In DOTA, you get an increasing penalty for each game you leave, eventually reaching days. There is already some toxicity but with this change, you will eliminate some of the toxicity.
Also, let us get a little conquest/MMR/rating from what we have played until that moment.
Please bring back Tank Queue for Solo Shuffle or do something with the current systems, tanks alreay take +50% increased dmg in PvP indoor making them even squishier than most DPS with somewhat decer survivability and donât have any real threat when paired in a Healer vs Healer queue, your just ignorable, youâre not a menace when the average round last 3 minutes and a DPS needs to take 10 times its HP in order to die.
40 minutes+ of Queue for games in wich youâre at such a disadvantage are no fun, this was supposed to be a game mode that everyone should be able to partake, now itâs just the same as other arena modes but with longer queue times
25 minutes in queue now, this is bad. If you really donât want tank vs tank games can you at least create 2s double dps solo shuffle? Because long queues will ruin it.
