Someone posted a male Pandaren wearing it on X earlier. It was the best laugh of the day.

I am curious to see how my character would look in it but they neglected to add a link to the set in the 3D viewer. :confused:

I mean, the character is female so that substantially helps in a case like this, but the overall bidyshape and the way the lower parts of the dress outright distort… not a win.

I didn’t expect it to be, but I wanted to see. :crazy_face:

its not an issue for the races with non humanoid feet like pandaren, vulpera, worgen, etc.

But a lot of the footwear which exposes the foot is just a boot model with feet texture drawn over it.
which as you might imagine makes the foot very blocky and in many cases low poly.

Thanks for the explanation! Yeah, I mean although I’ve spent over half of my time in WoW playing a Night Elf, I don’t think I ever gave her sandals on for whatsoever reason, and I also spent a substantial amount of that time in Cat Form anyhow, and it was during WoW’s earlier years.

Pandaren indeed do not have this problem, however we have a different problem that’s honestly far worse: Most footwear doesn’t show up at all and we’ve got a pair of sandals nailed to our feet permanently. :confused:

In this case the appearance is much the same as it is on Tauren etc - the ankle-piece shows.

Now, you might say “well that’s just like the hooves, what’s so bad about that?”

To which I answer: The fact that they aren’t hooves. Pandaren feet actually look like normal feet, they’re just unusually huge.
