Hello! I am going to create new character (Alliance) but i can´t decide on which realm.I am mainly interested in pvp. I heard that Ravencrest and Outland are good for pvp players .Ravencrest realm population is full .Outland population is high but according to realmpop .com there is more players in Outland than in Ravencrest.I would like to join Ravencrest but i want to know : are you experiencing any queue (for example in evening,new expansion launch or new patch).Thanks.

Outland use to be big,quite big dare i say,but thats like from wrath-mop times.And it was mostly for pvp guilds and if you are 14-20 year old.In the mean time Ravencrest grew and it was always one of the best realms when it comes to PvE,the community is mostly made of Nordic countries + Danish,Dutch.
It is my alliance go to realm and i never regretted my decision since Cata.Also a disclaimer i main Horde,so i dont spend alot of time on the alliance side,but from my xp i would recommened Reven,its the best alliance realm.

They used to be located in different data centers, RC in Frankfurt and Outland in Scandinavia. If that is still the case, pick the one that gives you a better ping.
They’ve increased capacity since then so more people have rolled/transferred there. It’ll be bigger than then now.
While the population is unmistakeably smaller they are clustered in a few super realms like Outland.
Outland is full alliance too. Used to be full balanced realm untull cataclysm and a bit after, but completely lost it by end of MoP.
Outland gets paired with Kazzak - so if people warmode/or quest in normal - most hordes they see are from Kazzak.
I am self playing in Outland. its decent realm, but its only a shell of what the realm used to be.
There are no queues for retail. The only queues are the login queues upon xpac release and those are universal.
It is. But it doesnt matter. Unless his internet is absolute dogpoop.

Also to answer your question OP, I don’t remember the last time I had to queue to log on.

What realms would that be? Ravencrest cant be it. So silvermoon?

OP I’d go with Outland, still appears to have more PvP oriented players than Ravencrest. But either’s a toss up, try making a low lvl toon on either realm to get a feel for what server fits you better.

Silvermoon, Outland, Draenor etc, the highest pop realms. They have rather large queues on expansion releases.
Emphasis on that part.
Ye xpac releases. But thats kinda universal. Everyone is getting buttF’d upon release. Even tho Legions release went on quite smooth. Or was it BFA? Cant remember. One of them had a quite good launch. I believe it was legions tho.
Other servers tended to have no queues or very small one. Those had quite long ones.
