Why do some rbgs ask for gladiators only?
I was always under the assumption that glads were good in arena content, but rbgs is a totally different beast or am I wrong?
Because where you have to start to survive versus 10 , you have to survive versus 2 and 3 first
My general experience is that high end arena players are better than high end RBG players, but that’s also a very hot take

People ask for it because they want high exp - low CR just to get 3/3 chests fast. Most of the arena players know how to deal their damage so if they meet similar CR PvE players it’s just a stomp. Blame Blizzard for terrible Vault design and that people have to get 3/3 to have a chance for a set piece in this stupid loot lottery.

because if they ask for grand marshals they stay waiting there all day xD
rbg is more about tactics arena more about cd trading…i find high rated rbgs harder than arena.
in rbg the map matters a lot where in arena it doesnt matter at all only if it has more or less pillars.
From my own experience low on rbg but decent on arena, playing as a rogue if you can set up cc in arena and do your rotation correctly you can hold a flag or ninja cap (basicly your job as a rogue most games). Hardest part about rbg in my opinion is not falling asleep while holding the flag.
As others said above, it’s just people wanting quick games. RBG is kind of braindead, so having a team full of people you’ve verified are competent at the game is supposed to be a sign that you’ll steamroll lesser experienced teams at low CR.
how would you know you were never high rated in arena or rbgs

i play many games in 2200 mmr thats not high rated ? its what ? low rated?
any pleb playing priest can get 2100 in 150 games easy now,but in rbgs? go try my friend xD
Maybe in old days it was high rated. Nowadays 2200 isn’t high rated.
in rbgs? then u not playing same game has me…theres only 10 alliance ret paladins in europe above 1800…and the top retri in europe have 1900 cr…so yeah 2200 is not high is low!hahaha
you both say rbg is easy but one is 0 cr other is 900 cr xD

whats high for someone that play with pugs can be low for fixed teams.
the discussion here was about why people ask for gladiator arena players to rbgs,i answered because theres more gladiators than grand marshals and thats now a lie ^^
also boosts in arena are cheaper than rbgs. that also explains why so many gladiators but no grand marshals.
i mean you go to oribos its full of people in glad mount,everyone knows shadowlands is the expac of buy boost xD

for me 1900 is high rated because first in new to pvp second i play alone third i try learn the game instead of buy a boost to prove others im good.
