I’ve noticed a number of bugs with RDF. This is Alliance side as I’ve not played my Horde characters in prepatch at all yet.
- Some dungeons only appear for 1 level then disappear, despite stating it should be active between set levels. I’ve noticed this mainly with Deadmines, Blackfathom Deeps, and Mara (1st Part).
- Some quests have not been adjusted to be group wide drops, such as Blackfathom Deeps brain and necklace quests.
- In Mara, the mob that you hand the quests into does not spawn in each part of the dungeon. This means that by the time you get to the last part of Mara in the RDF, the quests from the first 2 parts have turned grey. Originally, this quest NPC spawned at the end of each dungeon IIRC.
- Stratholm is completely bugged. The main entrance queue puts you to the back entrance and locks the gate to the front. I attempted to die and ghost run into the front, but it spawned me at the back again. This means that even if you clear the back entrance to Stratholm, you cannot “complete” the dungeon, and have to take a 30 minute debuff.
- The random bags at the end of the dungeons often do not rotate between gear pieces, leaving you with 10 sets of the same neck/shoulders/belt etc.
- The dungeon journal is incomplete and needs to be finished.
- Not dungeon related, but transmog does not work on the mail/plate heirlooms before level 40, as they don’t change until then. I believe this is likely also the case with leather/mail heirlooms too.
These are a few I have noticed so far. Feel free to post any others you may have encountered. Would be great if these could be looked into. Some of them seems particularly silly, such as the Stratholm issue.
