I have few friends quitting over the current state of resto druids – however I met some at higher rating that no matter what you throw at their dps their health bars won’t ever leave 99%.
For me they are completely fine, maybe the complainers are just bad
Those players are playing literally like r1 champions.
I met recently 1 druid, just godly level skill.
I got outplayed like 5yo old.
Typhoon me to create a distance between me and dps, sprint + leap to my dps and convoke my dps. Ect ect. I wasnt even angry to lose to that druid.
Edit: obviously if for you rdruids are fine, you got rating on rdruid to back it up.
If this is happening, then rdruids are not fine. Period.
I’m a former AWC top4 DF and multi r1 OTP druid and i can tell you rdruid is really bad, only better than rshaman
Or maybe you are if you can’t beat a resto druid. r1 resto druids sometimes beating duelist discs/hpals doesn’t make it fine

Playing Rdruid gives me a identity crisis. Literally swapping talents around like a mad man to find something that pushes rdruid on even level. After every round
But hey, aslong as you don’t get matched against a priest heal / pally or evoker , than Druid is pretty solid
To be fair I think that R Druid, R Shaman and H Priest are fine. It’s MW, H Pala and Disc being disgusting.
AWC participation of resto druids support what you said…
Rdruid is only OK in situations of perfect play, when defensives are rotated very well… those condition almost not exist and are rarely seen even on AWC.
Right now playing resto druid is a cancer, you are not allowed to do a single mistake, while enemy god tier healer can do ALOT of mistakes and still get away with them… Even when you dont do mistake its not guarantee you gonna win because healing output is weak (i lost games when i avoided all hunter traps for example). And evry game with resto druid got moment where your mates must respond with defensives in exactly given moment, if they dont its automatic lose, there is literaly nothing you can do.
Rdruid offers nothing to the table… we cannot do damage without gimping our alredy weak healing, our healing output is weaker than healing output of god tier specs, while they also do damage in same time. Our high dampening toolkit is almost not existant compared to disc priest for example. Our mitigation is very bad as well. I think even +15% raw healing buff wont put us in line with others thats how we are weak.
Solution is to buff underperformers or to nerf overperformers… booth choices are better than current state of game where only 2 healers are viable and all others beat the dust.

Rdruid is fine… Against keyboard turning player, after that it’s bottom tier with Rsham.
