Re-target hunters after faint death

What are people doing to re-target hunters? after their faint death, I know there used to be addons in the past that would automatically re-target them. I don’t think they work now as Blizzard removed this function

i use mousewheel to target in arena.

up: main target
down: off target
shift down: healer

works great for me but if u do it like that u have to adjust the binds to match the desired target every match/round.

i just swap around the arena target binds.

so for example if hunt is arenatarget 2 in the current round and i want to sit him i put target arenatarget 2 to mouswheel up and so forth. its adjusted fast in between rounds if ur used to it.

target enemy player 1-3, i do the same but with shift + wheelup/down/click and for select party 1-2 i use alt+wheelup/down

sadly for heals you need to make macro for target player1 as the keybind function in options also targets pets when you scroll for player 1-2. its designed that second interaction of player 1-2 selection gives you the pet that came with him even tho there is specific option separately for just the pet lol

Same, click or target nearest enemy player. Don’t have convenient keybinds free for target arena 1-3.

Are you asking for faint or dead hunters? We need clarification.

Sometimes i just remain in feign death position for a few seconds. It’s fun to watch some people slowly click through all the pets… First a hunter pet, then a totem, then a friendly warlock’s imp.

Can you tab target a hunter while he is in feign death? Or does it have to be via arena1/2/3 or clicking?

You can’t tab target a feigned hunter, so yea arena 1-3 would be the best way. I haven’t thought to check earlier, but there actually might be an option to keybind a cycle back to the previous target, that should work too.

The tryhard “no clicking” mentality is garbage.

its just to show how fast the binds can be swapped.
like if u exit the options while being in the arenatarget section u will have that section right on screen when u enter options again. so inbetween rounds it takes me like three seconds to make the adjustments.

if theres a lock hes always maintarget mouswheel up ofc :yum:
