The fact that you ignored the explanation of the issue, which other people confirmed as true, and then replaced the narrative with some issue which doesnât exist means two things:
a) you are either ignorant, and you completely fail to understand the issue, and the subject,
b) you are just trolling,
Either way, itâs bad, because now you are trying to gaslight people that itâs some stacking to 1000 issue, or an add-on issue when itâs neither of those.

Blizzard needs to change the reagent bag function, or else we are stuck with this issue.
You mean this little bag inconvinients is more important than people not getting to raid/m+ because they get disbanded out of nowhere? Or disconnecting while flying, landing even using skills? Skill not working as intented and sometimes just not go off at all? People getting chain dc for no reason or not able to relog? Guilds not getting loot from killed raidbosses because they just despawn, the loot master gets the loot in the mail and cant trade it anymore?
This are objectively more important issues (gamebreaking) than this inconvinience right here. If you see it otherwise, you are lying to yourself and / or bias. You can still play with your big bad bag problem. Others cant with the issues I listed.

Seems the system also ignores existing stacks IN the reagent bag. I just looked and saw two reagent bag spaces taken by the same item - first is 2 pieces of islefin dorado, second is 1 piece of islefin dorado, which apparently landed there because there was a free slot. I didnât place the fish like this. This is buggy as fel.
*but of course some ppl will keep saying âthis is low priorityâ and âlearn to adaptâ. While those are plain bugs.
If you knew anything about software engineering, you would then know that in many cases with simple functions you can just delete part of the code, and it will only remove the function. If function wasnât a dependency for something else, most of the time, nothing bad will happen.
Sane coders will simply put in a âswitch offâ function, so you can turn off and on functions without deleting anything.
Iâve personally done it a few times in ESO when modifying add-ons which are also written in LUA.

We are talking about a 20 year old code, that was just added upon all this years with new staff on the top. The bugs we have currently and the one we have for years now, are strong indicator for that.
I hope they atleast have a clear documentation, else its a hell portal and not a code.

No, we are talking about code which was written for the new bag literally a few months ago. Also, the age of the overall game, and its code, has nothing to do with an internal functionality of a new, and separated subsystem function.
You literally donât know what you are talking about, and just arguing for the sake of arguing, and to blindly defend devs who badly designed the bag.
No one cares what you are looking at, because you are just dishonestly nitpicking.

I can never comprehend what people gain from such attitude. I mean, if they received money for this, it would be understandable. But they pay money and defend a bad product they paid for. Itâs a complete mystery.
While the bag issue might seem minor and it is minor, when an expansion is filled with many such minor shortcomings and bugs, things begin to add up. Ore nodes hanging in the air or from branches, inaccessible nodes, mobs that canât be attacked because âevadeââŠDid Blizzard fire more than 50% of their staff so this expansion feels the most buggy one? And I play since woltk, Iâve seen bugs, but not that many at the same time.

Itâs just deeply rooted bias, cognitive dissonance, denial, and lack of self-criticism.
People have a tendency to form heavily biased opinions, and when they are confronted about those opinions, they canât face the reality, so dissonance, and denial kicks in, and they keep inventing excuses to rationalize why they arenât wrong, or why someone else if wrong. Part of this issue is just human psychology, and part is the impact of the environment (lack of proper education, etc.).

Wouldnât be so bad if gems from prospecting could actually be put in a regular gem bag. I donât mind rearranging my mats into seperate bags but once my reagant bags are full and i prospect ore, all the gems just go into regular bagâs which is very annoying

Iâve tried to use the bag for LW, and it ignored the fact that Iâve already had given mats in it, and just kept looting the same mats into a new bag = splinting the stacks.
I never wanted reagant bag. It is completetly useless for me. Just look at bank reagent so would be nice if they change to normal bag instead of reagant.

This seems fixed as of patch 10.0.5, for me new reagents respect other stacks first even if theyâre outside of the reagent bag so thatâs cool ^-^

Reagent bag needs to be at least 100 slots, AT LEAST.
