I was curious and checked on Dataforazeroth.

The original is owned by 4% of the playerbase, while the new one is owned by 1%. Will likely increase tho, it was 0.8% last week

Doubt it will reach 4 percent though as this is limited time mount till jan

You know I think you right. There is a very slight chance the bruto will make it to the TP. But…I betcha the one on the TP wont have a AH or Mailbox it will just be the longboi mount and cost 1k or more in tender.

They actually did us all a favor.
Seeing players camp 14-year old world bosses for a chance at a ~1% chance mount is just sad.
Seeing players run 14-year old raids on 10 different characters every week is just sad.
I don’t think Blizzard wants their players to be spending their time like that, it’s not even healthy.
Also, those things are old and used, nobody cares anymore.

I would like to say it’s been one of the most useful things in WoW I’ve ever had. I use it a lot, daily. It’s great.

My issue? they intentionally starved the game of it to exploit the need for it. There should be an ingame earnable version through content / drops etc. Secondly, it should’ve cost the same as any other mount that also provides city features, like the bear one.
