Disc is not the best healer but it’s easy to play, doesn’t have much binds, feel like disc was way harder in sl. Depends what it means by hard to play or to keep people alive in zugfest? It’s easy to play healer but not that great to sum it up.
Disc is more for setups in 3s then just zugzug.
Resto druid has the best healing but I still think it’s one of the hardest atm. You need to properly hot, swiftmend to extend hots before they fall off, stack lifeblooms and refresh them before they expire-if u refresh 5sec before it falls of it gives free 30k heals, form switching, also u need to drink as resto, there’s a lot of buttons to press and a lot of stuff to track.
on the other hand druid doesnt have to cast much, so that makes life easier for rdruid. It has more buttons for sure
Disc is easy in that sense that your spec does not have the tools to do anything. As disc youre basically a heal/dps bot. Cant do anything on its own. its a really bad spec imo, not even talking about numbers although numbers are low
Both disc and holy had much better design in shadowlands idk what is this lol.
Disc never had the tools to do anything, its class design is 10 years out of date. The whole healing with dmg feels extremely clunky. Partly because the numbers are very low and also its all casted and because its too many buttons to press, each with very little impact.
A satisfying way to heal with dmg would be the old way of the crane or the current melee wings.
Atonement should be an active ability that could make certain abilities instant. That would probably kill the spec in PvE so its unlikely to see it happen, but i think it would make disc way more enjoyable.
For me its rdruid and rshaman are the hardest. Doesnt mean that rdruid is s tier that is also easy to play.
They Made hpal way harder this season. You got to track holypower and let it go to 5holypower at least every 20 seconds.
You got to track a stacking buff that gives u wings and a pretty good heal.
You got to track enemy defensives/spellimmun/immun/jumping dh etc etc, disarm ontop so you hit the target that takes the most DMG so you can actually keep anyone alive.
Hps is so low, if you hit one big judgment into immun or def. Someone dies.
While of course looking for drinks 24 7
Ontop you need to use bops only if dispell isn’t possible
So dh lock priest druid belf sham evoker warr hunter can’t take it down with one global.
Also to actually heal u need to tab between enemy and friend constantly.
I think atm rdruid entry to mid level is more forgiving than the rest.
But rdruid got a lot of stuff to track and press so I guess the ceiling is still high.
I’ve only played rdruid in df, but in sl I played rdruid, hpal and priest and the hardest one to play and feel well with was druid back then.
The hardest healer to play is dependent on the player and how he can adapt to the diffrent playstiles in terms of gameplay.
Healing overall isnt easymode in general.
Rdruid=rsham
Disc
Evoker
Mw
Holy pala
Holy priest
Hardest to easiest personal list
can be on the same line , priest a little bit higer than hpal , hpriest have magic stin fear , mental control , and can cleans pal shield ( the cleans work in aoe no ? )
Yeah might be. Those 2 i havent played in pvp much but they seem both more forgiving at least for beginners.
Healing is rough itself nowadays tho
You mean mass dispell divine shield? Yeah, also can purgu the bop
Disc is literally the most braindead healer wdym lol
Go mistweaver in shuffle for the: Try not to die challenge (HARD)
not so hard when you have a tower that heal like you , a very big shield , a tp when hard focus , good dash fo escape ,
Healers that need to cast to heal. In the current meta, if you have to cast as a healer you are trash.
