Actually no, there were tenders as rewards for the old Plunderstorm and if you got them last time they are unavailable for purchase from the store and the “new” rewards are recolors of the Plunderlord outfit (no new swabbie outfits), recolors of some of the weapons, recolors of the mounts and pets.

Blame your fomo, not the players who are playing the game as intended.
Avoiding the lvl 1 licker is annoying but that’s part of the game if you want to farm this game mode.
Honestly, just pick up a green area to do your quest and die to the stormwall if you can’t play it.
I do enjoy the small combat you can have with people once you reach lvl 6-7 which is extremely fast. Plunder per minute is lower by a small margin but at least it’s enjoyable.

Ah, I was unsubbed at the time and wasn’t paying much attention to the forum.
Also it’s not really FOMO at this point, all of the previous rewards (including the tenders) are on the plundershop now and I imagine that future rewards will be added as well.

Yes it’s way better than a renown track because you can set priorities on your own or just buy the stuff you want and not bother with the rest.

Plunderstorm is a competitive game mode with limited resources, not a charity event. Why would other players willingly put themselves at a disadvantage by not killing you?
I mean… It IS a PvP mode.
Killing others is kind of… part of the deal.
You don’t have to like it. But it is what it is.
It’s not really an advantage to waste time chasing another level 1 around.
You gain levels far faster concentrating on other things.

My plunderstorm journey came to an end, i never liked that gamemode, but i can play it very well, ofcourse i will kill the rat who steals me plunder, yarr.
I collected everything today. I’m happy I don’t have to go back. Job done!

I disagree. There is a very limited amount of chests and mobs in each area. And you generally have enough time to loot/kill it all solo before moving on to the next zone. The go-to strategy is to get powerful asap since the closer you get to the center of the map the more likely you are to run into other powerful players.
So killing low level players is less about actually killing them and more about stopping them from taking your valuable resources.
I just let people kill me in plunderstorm if they attack me. Just like in pvp in battlegrounds or world pvp
I get levels far faster annihilating elites than I do fighting a player, which goes on much longer.
Which is why most players I run into are lower level so if they do try to fight me they usually die. Whereas the 1v1s when you land are usually a waste of time and put you behind.

People complaining about Plunderstorm need their hormonal levels checked.
Its PvP for godness sake.
Also nobody knows when u gonna have the quest done.
