What makes Plunderstorm particularly exciting is playing it as a hide-and-seek type of game, feeling the danger of facing another opponent right from the start. If there was a safe zone or something else at the start, it would be way less fun.
I’m unsure how many people actually play it the way you’re supposed to vs the “get the world quest done and go” mentality. I get my wq done, farm pve mobs and then just let people kill me. If they kill me off the bat I just go “oh well” and move on. The times I have actually gotten to the end, I’ve been confused because I’m not deliberately hiding or anything.

Same. I am just a measly level 1 with a pet obsession, no need to kill me. Although i just got down to the last 3 by mooching for plunder. When I came across another player I was CC’d and dead in 5 seconds but I’m still calling it a win

Grateful by the looks of the plunderstore that I collected a lot of items first time around not sure if I can hack this for long this time. Collected the black outfit and got out for today.
Also, where are these tenders as the ones in the plunderstore are what I already had from before - is there more or is those, they were referring to …

I only care about my objective then I’ll run at players asking them to kill me. Not everyone believes I’m just gonna stand there and let them.
Even had one guy I said pls let me loot chest first then you can kill and he waited. Others will just fight you regardless. So then you have to fight back. Some I kill, some kill me.
It’s no skin off their nose to let us do objectives.

so i have to accept that if i want it, i’m going to get killed from time to time
weight it up yourself and decide

I think there is some cap on monthly tenders or so. Very much appreciate it if dont have to do plunder even to obtain more tenders
