Thank god Blizzard ignores this crybaby minority.
DE has three active Servers. One is Horde only, one Alliance only, one is balanced. The servers combined have 21 k raiders according to ironforge.pro.
Everyone is forced to move to the Alliance only server (which will then be pretty balanced). Many names are already taken. So is our guild name, which is a day 1 guild (also dating back to 2009 in retail) and which has already survived a semi-forced transfer, because already three months into Vanilla, Blizzard activated free transfers for the Alliance to another server, after we had won the battle against them. Then in TBC we could transfer as well (and won another battle on the new server causing the Alliance to transfer away again). Now we’ll meet a third time in Game Mode: Peaceful.
Re-farming guild Achievements is not acceptable. If this doesn’t work right now, then please postpone the merges.

Why is there no option to transfer from a DE server to Mirage Raceway? If Blizzard wants to enforce mega servers, might as well transfer to the biggest mega server. Would be a neat option for those that prefer that instead of Everlook.
Pvers hating on pvpers because they’re too bad to pvp and feeling inferiority complex never gets old. Pvers wanting no pvp in the game for everyone when they have a choice to never play pvp themselves is such a loser mentality.

The names NOT the main problem here… EVERYONE hates this decision! Literally the single worst “solution” you could have come up with.
Destroying RP on Grobbulus for US and destroying 3 healthy community servers and killing PvP servers for EU.
You apparently have no idea what players want. Let us stay on our homes and stop forcing merges. At least make battlegroups like so many others suggested.

Im part of the ones happy. I had to left the character i played on Classic since 2019 because the name was already taken on gehennas (had to move from MR because my guild stopped after LK and there were not manu pugs)
Now i can finally go back to play my main where i have only farmed gold instead of playing this other character i Made from 0 on gehennas.
What about a free Faction change?
For exemple, EU Auberdine is a FULL alliance server. EU Sulfuron il a full Horde player, BUT the server is totaly dead, maybe 200-300 active Horde players.
When i’m going to transfer from Sulfuron to Auberdine, IHAVE to faction change my Sulfuron’s Horde to Alliance in Auberdine…
I have 10 characters, pay a Faction change for these characters is… 190€… Are you going to pay that for me??? I HOPE !
Or lower the price to like 5€ per faction change idk… 30€ per faction change is just a BIG SCAM !!

tbh, could we then just skip the step for the “german mega server” and merge into raceway aswell? the step from 8k players on a single faction to a server with 10k on both factions is just stupid when there is an EU Server with 30k+ each faction allready…
So we go onto Everlook, play till soo release and when the server is dead then we get a 2nd merge into raceway or whatever its called then…
Please just skip this and merge into one immediately
Tbh they could just let “small” servers get Free migration and close them and leave the big servers alone … i personally have 0 wish to play with the ijits of gehennas

It sounds as if Guild Transfers wont happen. I suggest every EU player raises a ticket a day to request Blizzard to reinstate Guild Transfers. They must still have the coding from retail. If we have to spend hours and hours of pain recreating guilds and building rep etc - the Blizz should share the pain, by hitting their support statistics below the belt

In my opinion you should create 2 new servers instead of merge to Mirage . 1 Mega PVP Srvr and 1 Mega PVE Srvr so people can decide where they want to go if they want to go.

PvP, PvE and Rollplayers should all have their own realm simply because our playstyle is very different and our general attitudes often clash and do not mix into a healthy fun community.
So please, stop trying to fix what isn’t broken before you break it.
