Well I am positive for this transfer, i get to play my real main and the people from Gehennas coming over means GDKP will happen allowing me to raid again instead of just doing profession like i did in Cata from release till DS.
Well you can leave the transfers, but don´t merge our realm.

(and btw - IF you close the realm, open up transfers to Everlook, too…)

I read the US post and got excited!
Then I read the EU post and I am shocked that I AM FORCED to a PVE realm.
I want a forced balance PVP realm, just like in the US. I want world PVP again. I always wanted it, but I was forced to go to a one faction server because of the population collapses and playing as a 0.1% minority faction is miserable.
So where is the PVP realm??? Who is making these decisions? Make a new dedicated realm for that if needed. I do not give a damn about my character name. I want a fun experience.

Guilds will be transferable with name and achievements or the game dies as soon as this update hits.
Not enough PVP players so blizzard does not care.
Same problem with RP players and Casual Pve players who dont want to be in mega server. I honestly just recommend joining me in unsub gang.

Blizzard, you wanted all players, with very different environmental likes and dislikes, be in one place. Look at this topic. We are so different and we all say with one voice: DON’T DO THAT, BLIZZ. Because we all know how that in our case your idea is not a good idea.
If you do that, it will look like you want to kill that version of WoW, but want to blame players who (will) stop playing. I don’t write you really want it. I just write how it looks like.
Free transfer from those realms? OK.
Locking and/or deleting the old ones? NO.

Its almost like us players know what we want better then developers who dont even play their game anymore. The fighting between realms thats happening here is just a start. Try to sell something in Mega Mirage trade chat. i dare you to use LFG to find a group or general to talk something game related when firemaw players are causing drama with pyrewood and miraga is bickering with Gehannas on all global chats and everybody is lighting fires everywhere and nobody is enjoying it anymore. Its gonna be Burning trash pile.
Sadly it seems blizzard wants the trash pile to burn so. Once everyone is gone they can sell their next EPIC UPGRADE FOR JUST 120€, but after this backstab i wonder how many of your paying customers will be gone for good, because it seems this is the last straw needed for quite a bit of players. Not all, not even close i know, but is this really worth losing this many players… for what?

This is why they need to hire more GMs and be super active with them the first couple weeks of this merge to sort out the toxics, botters and the outright ugly from the general population that is bound to cause alot of drama and negative vibes!
Im all for the merge, but blizzard need to be really engaged in the moderation angle of it and enforce the social contract for it to be a true success.
I’ve heard that only this thread is read by people who can do things, so I’ll paste my post from Hydraxian Waterlords topic:
"Blizzard, that’s one of those moments when you have to think twice is locking small(er) realms trully good idea. Because the whole EU WoW community says You otherwise. I’m writing it not only because of us, Hydraxian Waterlords denizens, but on behalf of other realms too. Almost noone likes the megaserver idea here. At least almost noone of players. Locking realms is like cutting of house water, energy, gas and so on, shredding the road to the house and saying “hey, you can still live here! No problem!”
People from Firemaw sits in Firemaw, because they like how is there. People in Mirage Raceway sit there, because they like the MR atmosphere. Same with players from Hydraxian Waterlords about their realm. And so on, and so on.
HW is calm but alive place. Twice a week we kill World Bosses and I’ve heard that maybe will be one more day. With Alliance and Horde cooperation (Ally has most of time full raid group, I don’t know how Horde). And we LOVE IT. We welcome every single person who starts polite conversation in other way that “is that realm dead?”, “that realms is dead” or something like this (it happens so often that we kinda lost patience because not knowing is it genuine question or some tiktok challenge).
Not all players are total extraverts wanting fireworks and explosions every half of second, like some nutty Goblin. A lot of people needs calm place. So they come to Hydraxian. Others want to eternally be in PvP mental mode: Firemaw, here we go. More alive than Hydraxian but still nice community? There’s Mirage Raceway. If you, Blizzard, put us all into one sack, we all lost what we love in places we are now.
The equality what should seams good thing, right? But that equality is cruel, because players forced to megaserver reality loose. A lot. Don’t do that, Blizz. That’s not a good idea.
Free transfer to other realms? Good idea. Some people who stopped playing when realm was more alive come back and don’t feel it anymore. They’re caged. But DON’T LOCK the realm. That’s not OK.
By the way:
Hydraxian Waterlords have those weekly WB killings twice a week, like I wrote before. Thursday and Sunday at 7PM server time. We start at Galleon. You can feel invited, even incognito. We don’t check who is who."

So, you gave us the choice a while back of which server to go to when you decided to close our server, we chose, and now you are going to force us to go to the server we didnt want to go to?!?!? Reeks of incompetence!!
You are not doing anything to migrate guilds? You have done this before, why can’t you do it again? The game has evolved in a way that Guilds and guild achievements are a major part of the game and you are going to arbitrarily wipe them out? Is it because the Name issue may be a little bit tricky for you to sort out? Well tough!!! You are the ones forcing this change? You should sort this out as a priority!! I have played the game since TBC (Retail), and have seen Guild transfers to other servers happen so you CAN do it, as far as I can see you just won’t!! And having plyed that long, I have enjoyed my best times in the Classic era and have had some of the best Guild experiences in all my time playing Wow, and now you’re just going to destroy it?!?!
Who even asked for this change? Ther doesn’t seem to be people raging on forums or in tha game chat for mega servers?!?!? And judging by the responses here, it seems to be one of the most unpopular moves you have ever made??!!?
Please rethink this move altogether, but the least you MUST do, is sort out the Guild transfer issue!!!

Its honestly heartbreaking to see how many people are outraged by this and raising their voices here begging blizzard to not destroy their communities and leave them to rot.
And its even more heartbreaking to see the SILENCE Blizzard is answering us with showing us undeniable proof that Blizzard stopped caring long time ago…

They posted a update for US Server
Update! We hear your feedback on character and guild names loud and clear, we knew this would be a very painful point but felt that the overall long term health of the play experience would outweigh it.
But! Late last night we did realize there was more we could do here.
The following realms will now Free Character Transfer to five new destination realms that are pre-connected to Pagle.
Faerlina → Nazgrim
Mankrik → Galakras
Benediction → Ra-den
Atiesh → Lei Shen
Whitemane → Immerseus
Character names and guild names are all unique on each realm, but all realms will be connected together able to join other guilds on other realms in the group and raid, dungeon and PvP together.
We hope that this solution will give everyone as much opportunity to secure the names that they have come to cherish.
These realms will be open and waiting for you with the character moves on Tuesday 23rd after realms go Live after maintenance.
Not really , only solution is do nothing , they are attempting to “smooth” over a forced destruction of communities , you know the ones they so called are so so so caring about ! #ismellbs

You are aware of the fact that there are player like me who have difficulty with the business of big realms due to light effects, jumping characters and so on?
Mega realms make me feel dizzy, nervous and i never can logged in for long in busy areas- and iam probably not the only one with this issue.

the german RP community had fought for their realm 2019. It was released too late, and most had already settled on other realms. Still it was the biggest RP realm in EU back then afther the first transfers off at the end of TBCC before the realm murder during the end of TBCC.
We never got a blue response in the german blue realm murder thread. not one. The employees for CS/forum moderation did remove some posts and never locked it (for a long time) but we never got an update.
when they decided to leave HWL open for the EU RP community even THIS info was never written in blue ink. WE had to copy paste the enws because no one at blizzard felt responsible.
I´m still a bit optimistic that we get to keep the RP realm - they also left the realm last time.
but i´d love finally a blue post somewhere.
It´s tiresome to have to constantly have to fight for a place to play
Especially with mental health issues - i don´t hae the energy really. sigh

just reading some of the replies here, you have to wonder is this really worth it?
I play on one of the smallest servers, people are gutted. Locking us now will surely kill us, as you will use the low pop as an excuse to merge.
I cant imagine the numbers of angry people on the larger servers.
So i ask again, is this really worth it?
