Because Outland is mainly a realm for pvp players. Same thing with Stormscale. Blizzard has just made pvp worse and worse, so these two realms have lost a lot of players.
Ohh, thatās a good explanation, it really makes sense, both ragnaros, stormscale and outland went down significantly in the amount of guilds in recent times.
Well the connection was successful. Itās a good sign that the English connections have gone smoothly this past month. But a lot of the other EU connections have failed, and the German servers are still down even 7 hours after they were supposed to get back up. Problems or not Blizzard needs to seriously start speeding connections up unless they want to keep this up for 6-12 more months.
Indeed, it is weird that blizzard hasnāt stated anything about the extended maintenance on Blackhand, there isnāt even a note on the ETA of the connection on the launcher. This is the status I have of all the connections this week:
We would still have 12-13 successful connections this week assuming backhand comes back as it should.
for reference last week had 11 and week 33/34 each saw 9 servers connected so things are at least ramping up it seems if slowly.
they tried connecting blackhand like what? 4-5 times now? Always failed. Itās been in a weird semi-connected state for a while where people from MalāGanis could join Blackhand guilds but not trade with them.

They successed on the 4th attempt. 
I did not find any reports of problems after the connection, so I guess it was worth waiting.
Yes, was an insane connection, took 15 hours! Was supposed to end at 5, I went to bed at 10 cause it never wanted to finish, and looks like it ended at 12, was surprised it worked after that long!
Wait and see;) If with all the sad number of horde players on Sylvanas, 0 raid experience and consistency issues we managed 9/12 so far, in SL weāll be ready to make alliance sweat;))

Wow, impressive, hadnāt noticed you managed to kill so many mythic bosses on an almost empty faction, the only horde sylvanas guild with mythic progress!
So it seems all the former Normal RP realms will join the former RPPvP realms and Argent Dawn will stand alone, forming 2 RP realms in total.

Yes, Iām pretty sure, because as a basic population evaluation, darkmoon faire shouldāve been with moonglade (and linked realms), but evidently they considered that to be too small, so itās virtually certain you will be connected to defias as well, it seems unrealistic for blizzard to leave you alone or connect you with AD.
Oh, defias might break into āfullā population territory when moonglade is added too!

Official post will probably be up today. Yesterday was a Sunday so no PR people working to publish an official post.
Maintenance schedule released on Sunday is not a big issue as you need to have maintenance personnel available 24/7 pretty much.
There usually isnt until monday afternoon/eveningā¦ They announce the maintenance on sundays though.
