Does anyone else got Realm selection window before character select screen? Recently I got it every time I’m logging to the game.

Same here, and just got server shutdown, so maybe blizz is fixing it ?
Yes i have been getting it too. it always used my last logged in realm as default
As of today, every time I launch the game I am presented with server selection instead of the usual warband character selection screen.

Plenty reports on US forums as well. Clearly something is not right.

Thanks all, the automatic realm selection was disabled as part of troubleshooting the issues discussed here:
While the impact looks to be over for now we’re still reviewing what caused it and will re-enable the normal realm selection behavior as soon as possible.

For me it’s weirdly defaulting to the Mythic Tournament Realm rather than the ‘real’ realms.

Every time you start wow and you have to choose realm? It sounds something wrong there?

same here realm list popup everytime i start game
Same here, started after yesterdays battle.net update. Snaps back to “english” server tab and does not reflect a new choice.

At least it’s not just me. I had installed on a new PC and thought it was just that installation. Annoying as f***.

This happen to me all the time as well this is very annoying 
Same issue, i`ve find out yesterday logging back in after some times
