Zandalari Tribe was my best WoW experience, please give us an RP-PVP server blizzard! It attracts a more mature crowd, it was the single best online gaming experience i ever had!

I would love to have an RP server like Zandalar Tribe again, it really completed the experience of classic wow for me and a lot of others.

I didn’t think warmode would be such a bad idea. This could be a fix to a lot of drawbacks with equal benefits. Try to level an certained Era Servers. There are some where you can’t level in Hillsbrad cause there are level 60 the whole day ganking lowlevel characters. P2 release in classic showed what faction imbalance can do aswell. Worldbuffgriefing could be countered aswell. And at last there would be more room for regional Servers and if some of them really died out after a time, you could just merge them to counter that.
That doesn’t need to be in at the start but could be a solution if anything above happens.
PS: definitly wanna have regional Servers!
That is why Blizzard has announced working on servers and faction balance in order to find the golden spot for every type of player. Since the servers are fresh, all the friends can roll on any server they want without feeling like their server will die. There are also phases for you and your friends to try out different classes/specs/servers. If some of your friends want world pvp and some do not, then that is something that has to be discussed between your friend group, not on blizzard to fix.
Being ganked left and right is not true. I had previously leveled on faction balanced pvp servers and encountered such situations here and there, but not so much that the game is no longer is playable. As a matter of fact, a lot of the times when these situations happen, people will bring friends/guildies/other characters or mention in general chat that ganks are happening in the area, making the game actually feel like and MMO, causing others to bring their geared characters for world pvp, which sometimes tend to grow into large fights and end up being pretty fun. These fights are also avoidable one way or the other for those who do not wish to participate. Whether its to respawn at the spirit healer, run away and level in a different area (there are so many to choose from) , or simply log off this character and enjoy another one or some peace and quiet.
Warmode is really not as good as people make it out to be. If you are a fresh max level trying to farm some tokens for gear in warmode in retail, you’ll get clapped by premade groups and sweaty BiS pvp geared people. If you add warmode to classic, it’ll just create pre-made groups mandatory, for which one must be a certain “OP” class of the phase in order to join and eliminate the “1v1 world-pvp” out of the question.
Let people have their fun, if they like world PvP, let them have it. If you do not and see it as immersion breaking, then best for you and your friends to make the decision of rolling on a PvE server.

I’ve been in talks with my guildmates and heard from another RP guild on Hydraxian Waterlords as well. We would very much appreciate a RP server for Season of Discovery. Many of us are interested in trying the new season mechanics, and roleplaying is what keeps us coming back to the game. I have a feeling that many who transferred off Hydraxian when the server was under shutdown threat would also be very interested in a chance to return to a roleplay setting.

That is exciting news, and I can only add my voice to all those asking for a RP realm. I too, still have extremely fond memories of the Zandalar Tribe Classic RP-PVP server, which was a wonderful experience with the friendliest players I ever encountered on a server. Tagging on RP does not really cost anything or have any detriment, apart from really making a lot of people happy.
Me, I’d greatly prefer a RP-PVP server, but it’s the RP bit that matters a bit more.

Echoing this! Zandalar Tribe was THE best server and WoW experience I have ever had in all my years of gaming, I think a dedicated RP-PvP server would be a fantastic addition to Season of Discovery!

Forcing balance on PVP servers is the best thing I have read from Blizzard since the original classic announcement. Great move.
