[Realms population] Any viable website for count

…of the WoW population by server / factions etc… ? (hello)

I’m interested about moving from my former group server language to a ENG one.

I want to find an active, nice and with lot of people especially on alliance.

Also looking for an eventual High Elf guild gathering like this one on US servers :

If you want to play on an ENG server and you want to RP, there’s only one real option and that’s Argent Dawn. I haven’t really looked into RP lately but when I last did there was plenty of elf guilds floating around.

ok ok then i ll add Argent dawn in my list :dracthyr_uwu:

1st goal is to find big alliance server

→ elf guild is more for… feeling less alone in High elf mindset. Its more easier to share the burden of not having true high elf with others people playing voids for high elves in alliance :smiley:

We need more Horde on Argent Dawn, not more Alliance XD
Server is already over 75% Alliance, and it’s honestly…annoying sometimes in events.

AD makes the world feel alive, lots of events and highly populated and a great mix of pve and pvp players, the other main servers are silvermoon which alot more pve focused & ravencrest for pvp

Problem with Silvermoon i spent 1 hour to NOT find a nickname for my character :dracthyr_crylaugh:

I think there is to many players so to many already taken names

On AD is even harder to find any good name :slight_smile:

AD is definitely the most active English RP realm.

Going forward in TWW you wont need to be on the same realm as your guild, however if you are looking for RP you probably would want to move to that realm.

The various sites can give you an idea of population. I generally go for these two

Silvermoon is the most populated Alliance realm.

Argent Dawn is the most populated RP realm (mostly alliance).

Indeed but as you know you can only text on /1 /2 with people of your own server and faction

So be in a low pop population = less customer for sell crafts

Just go Silvermoon. You won’t regret it. I’m playing on Silvermoon since Legion and it’s the best, to be honest.

I used to switch realms all the time before playing on Silvermoon.

I never went to a Horde realm cuz I am RPer at heart and don’t care most of them outnumber us in the story sections.

Is there really any difference nowadays? I like PvP in mmorpg’s but picked Silvermoon because it was more active and I managed to get some names for my characters that were not available in Ravencrest

But in Silvermoon thats litteraly hell to find a nickname which is not already taken

Unfortunately its a trade-off for playing on the high pop realm.

If I recall every expansion pre patch a lot of names free up, if the persons account has been inactive for 2 expansions (4 years) their character names will get auto released.

So pre-patches are great to try and grab some good names!

AD seems like a really nice place, community looks more chill and casual, but not sure how I would fit on RP realm and how active it is, comparing to Silvermoon (orders mostly). And also not sure how PvP system works there.

I had a hard time finding an active, casual community on Silvermoon.
